Okay Pam, I just looked at your blog pics and all I can say is

"I feel pretty.....oh so pretty....!!!"

I probably have that coming soon too....my daughter doesn't have a ton of hair, still, so we haven't been able to experiment with the hair clips yet but I can see it coming cause she thinks she is a Princess!

Took baby girl to the ped doc this evening. It was not as bad this time as last time. She is now 5 lbs 12 ounces! That is nearly 2 pounds gained!! She is now 20" long! That is nearly 3" since last the last visit 4 weeks ago. Doc said everything looked really good!!
I had a different nurse this time....who actually knew how to work the scale!! There is a little metal piece that locks the scale in place once the baby is somewhat holding still!! So then there was no question about how much she weighed!!
Thankfully she did not give me a bad time about the vaccines this time. She just said that I had to sign a paper saying that they told me about the vaccines and I chose to decline them...of course they could not find one of those papers! So she just wrote it on the chart paper and had me sign that.
One thing that the doctor asked that made me laugh was "Is she easily consoled?" LOL!! I was thinking in order to console her she would have to cry!! Haha...she does not get much of a chance to cry or someone snatches her up!! My goodness my 13 yo will just come out and grab her from me just to hold her!! Both him and my 11 yo will circle around me and ask 20 times if I am done feeding her so they can carry off with her!!

I went to Goodwill today....just couldn't help myself! There was a yellow checkered table cloth that I seen there last Friday and I just had to have it! Thankfully it was still there! So, I got the yellow checkered table cloth, two shirts for myself, a pillowcase and a top sheet. The pillowcase and top sheet were part of a full set but I did not want the blanket, fitted sheet, dust ruffle, or the other pillowcase...so somebody is going to be very dissappointed if they want to buy the set because I have two of the pieces.
The pillowcase and sheet are white with pink, olive green, and black polka dots on them. I want to make a pillow case dress for the girls out of the pillowcase. I want to make a smock top, ruffle pants, and some purses out of the sheet. Now I just want to get some black and pink ric rac to go on the outfits.
I got $10 from the consignment store from a load clothes that a friend dropped off while I was in the hospital having the baby....so I used that. It cost $14.55 for the 5 things I got today so it is like getting them for $4.55!!
Out of the yellow checkered table cloth I want to make an apron for me and DD and then a purse/sack bag. Then I stopped at Dollar General and picked up a pretty dish towel that had sunflowers and a bird house on it to put in the apron band for a $1.
