well for the lisence you have to go to a full service center...the 2 closest are both about an hour from me...
however to register i can aparently go to the county clrerks office.
i couldnt afford to do both the plates and lisence today and i need to sort out the new insurance too before i switch the plates (right now im on dads and pay him each month lol)

officially i could have done registration at the full serivce center too and got it all done in 1 swoop but i need to figure out the car insurace first lol.

those puppies are soooo cute!
edited to add...I have never in my life seen a hairless puppy before and she is adorable but would never survive a winter here!

lol, i actualy have a frined with a HL in alaska lol.
they do fine in any weather if you treat them as you woudl a baby...mine wear fleece pjs in the winter if the house is chilly, potty breaks for cold days are kept short, and for realy cold days we layer, fleece pjs, sweater, coat lol.
the odd thing about this breed is there the only breed ive ever met that universally LOVES to play dress up...they do apreciate a sweater if you need one...they need one.
they actually are worse in the hot summers because they burn easily so you have to use sunscreen and cotton t-shirts or keep sun exposire to a minimum.

ruby actually puts her own sweaters on...i just hold it open and shell shove her head right in lol.

Jasper is a blanket hog lol. loves blanets.

You have to go to two separate places in TN for plates & drivers license? Huh. I don't remember doing that, but it has been at least a hundred years since I lived there

Here, it is all in one building, which is so nice. A license from your new state does make you feel more 'official' , doesn't it?! :)

edited for poor grammar
We had to go to two different towns (in the same county) to get our MS DLs and tags!

LOL! I can completely understand why they would love to play dress up... I'd be freezing if I had to run around naked all the time. Show me a sweater and I'd come running too! Those kinds of dogs really need owners that like to baby them...tooo cute!

yup there definatly a "girls" dog lol...
though quite honestly there tough little demons too...not much is known about the breeds history before the chinese picked them up in Africa, but they were origioanlly found in the africa wilderness, tribla paraiah dogs, belived to be a mix of various local paraaih terrier and sighthound types...
they were bred as hunting dogs, and probably heaters and even food at some points (much liek the xolo in axtec culture)
the chinese sailors saw these dogs work, they are fast, increidbly agile and even after so many years of domestication many are still amazing ratters, the chinese took hairless with them aboard the ships as ratters, unlike the cats, the hairless dogs didnt get fleas and their size meant like the cats they could survive on scraps and their catches...

from there the breed got spread aroudn the world where they became more "pets" than their origonal design, but many even now do extreemly well as working dogs, they make great rabbit dogs due to the sighthound history, their long legs, deep chest, long stride and speed (they run like cheetah!) makes them great on rabbit and many LOVE the lure course) and those that retain the terrier instinct make amazing ratters...
Ruby is an amazing squirrel dog, she goes up trees after squirrels and is even fast enough to catch chipmonk. shes got quite a number of rat and mouse kills under her belt.
Jasper isnt quite as driven, he wont follow them up trees, but he has caught hmself a couple squirrels and mice too. i think of ruby as a tom boy with a girly side, she likes to play dressup, but loves to get down and dirty whenever possible!

Oooooo...i'm excited for fish pics....how big is your tank?

We just got a 10 gallon setup for Maddie for xmas. We are gonna get her guppies...I think maybe 8 fancy males and an algae eater. Chad is gonna get a few pieces of lumber for a cabinet in the garage and he was gonna get an extra couple of pieces to make her a stand for it with a shelf underneath to put all the stuff in. I still have to get the heater for the tank and we are gonna probably get the fish the friday before christmas. It'll be fun, I love having fish but we just couldn't keep anything alive without a heater so all our tanks have gone to Tyler's reptiles
