When we lived in Hawaii we did not have an oven. We had a small (I mean small!) toaster oven and an electric cook top in the counter. J did most of the cooking then and managed quite well. A toaster oven was a major step up from how we cooked in Samoa! Have you ever made perfect rice on an open fire? J has! But I tell ya, I sure love my oven! It would have to be a mighty great toaster oven for me to give up my range!!

lol!

well had to go to lowes this monring for paint...managed to pick up another mis mix batch for $13...its not the exact shade of the current pick i have on the other 2, but it is the same color just mixed in the wrong base so its abotu 2 shades lighter. should look ok though its still pink and it is the same color, just a ifferent saturation.

got home, painted the inside of the 4 new hutches, hung the box doors, made the frames for the fronts, put fencing on 2 and hung those and put the fencing on the end...
i now have 2 usable hutches. i need more cloth staples to finnihs the other two but at least the rex that are comming home tomorrow have houses to go into.
im hoping to be able to pick up more cloth staples while on my travels tomorrow (im sure there'll be a walmart/lowes somewhere along the way.)

tomorrow morning its a case of get up, get everyone settled, set up the 2 hutches for the new buns, load the crates into the car and head out to pick up 2 standard rexs buns, need water bottles for them too as the walmart injackson today was all out of them...
but ive got everything else i need. when i get back with them il get them settled and hopefully be able to finnish off the other 2 doors and get the outside painted. *fingers crossed*

it felt good to be working otuside today but it was colder then i thought...my fingers are stil numb from the cold breeze comming through. gonna warm through in a little while with a nice hot shower.
so yeah got alot done, woudl have gotten more dine if i hadnt ran out of paint *grumbles*
ive gone through 2 gallons of white and thus far an entire gallon of pink (ill probbaly go through 1/2 gal painting the outside)

oh well, gonna go check email and such then a hot shower...

oh there will be pics lol.

right now the current plan is a broken black doe and either a black or black otter buck...but shes got a few standard rex left from her previous litters so were gonna see whojumps out...
im thinking the broken black doe is a must (i want to breed for brokens) so its a case of black or otter for the buck lol

oh and on a completly different note...
i inquired about flooring at lowes today, thsy have a sheet vinyle that i realy like (and would look lovely with the current hardwoods) for $1.15 a sqft...
so i asked how much instilation costs...
only 89 cents per sqft on sheet vinyl...

i cant realy do the floor myself because i hae to move the stove and fridge...
if they d it i not only get the 10yr manufacturors warentee on product but a 1 yr warentee on instalation faults too.
(and if you have it insttalled by them they dont charge sales tax on the product of instalation lol.)
so it would be about $115 for the floor (my kitchen is 99.6sqft lol) plus about $90 for instalation.
free delivery within 20 miles and $2 a mile after (im 20.5 miles so i wonder if theyd charge me the extra $2 lol)
so new floor in the kitchen would cost me about $205...
not bad, so im thinking thats probably going to be the next "big" thing to get done in the house.
you knwo...when that money tree sprouts that is lol.
