Pinky, if you go to Corinth there is a place on Proper Street called Smith's Discount Flooring or Smith's something related to flooring :p I can't remember the exact name, but they have laminate for 79 cents per square foot! That's a GREAT price!! You could likely do your whole house for under $500! Just a heads up on that, my friend called me the other day telling me about it. Thought i'd pass it along.

thanks, will give them a check out :)
right now lowes is winning at a little under $200 for floor including instalation (and they'll move the fridge and stove which is the only real reason i cant do it myself, my fridge is a beast it took 3 of us to get it IN the house lol).
i wish all household apliances had wheels...life woudl eb SOOOOO much easier that way! or at least though funky little roller bearing things! thats it...im going to attatch wheels to everything i own lol (im actually planning on putting the litle bearings on my ottoman because i do move it around alot and eventually when i get the hardwood refinnihsed in the livingroom i dont want to risk scratching it up :) )

well no real nesting activity this morning...acorn looks like shes possibly trying, shes made herself a nice comfy divet in her pile of hay but no fur pulling yet...bluebell, well nothing exciting going on there lol.
however Both have decreased on food consumption, they usually eat a full 6oz in a day (empty their bowls) and the past couple fo days theyve only been eating about 4oz...
who knows, got feeling there going to drag this out if for the only reason being that these would be my first litters of MY rabbits

currently got their frozen waterbottles thawing through in a sink of hot water while i have my breakfast, then get them watered, get dressed and head on out to town for some bits i didnt realize i needed untill last night. will also pick up duck food while im at it so i dont have to head out again this week...

in other news, my paper towel holder broke this morning and my curtain rod fell down...why do i get a "one of THOSE days" vibe?

oh well got to get everything done before the bad weather comes in, supposedly looking at around 3:30-4pm start for this area, and through untll about midnight.
Gave everyone a little extra hay, and when i go out to give water ill put the rain sheets on just to make sure everyone stays cozy if the wind picks up.

so yeah...off i go!
Did i mention its cold outside?

well whent out today to get the things i forgot yesterday and came back with a little more than i bargained for...
found a little 8-9 week tortie kitten...
shes not likley to be perminent but shes very cute, already put an add on the local classifieds to anyone that wants her...*fingers crossed*
she likes tempi and willow...but is NOT a fan of the dogs right now...there all "in your face" because there so used to tempi and willow putting up with it...well little kitten isnt, she sunk a claw into rubies nose (thankfully i clipped the clas 5 mins after bringing her inside so theres no serious damage) she gave dozer a good ole hissing and swiping at too (hes not quite sure how to respond and is now giving the back bedroom where shes currently chilling out a wide birth (its gated off so she can get in and out but the dogs cant)...
hoping someone wants her as a valentines gift, shes a love bug and a purring machine!

Otherwise though i stuck to the plan, picked up what i needed and the starter for the duckies, put $20 gas into my tank and came right on home. for some reason my eyes are heavy and a little dry/itchy...cat allergy?! lol wouldnt that be funny, ive had no allergic symptoms around tempi and willow and they sleep with me/on me, but since bringing this little one in my eyes are dry/itchy...odd.

anywho, got what i needed and got home, its starting to darken up now, this "storm" is going to be a bust i think...itll be messy for this evenings commute but there expecting a slushy mix between 3 and 9 and then all rain from 9-midnight and possible rain in the morning, with the temps climbing tonight itll mean whatever does fall and manage to stick o the roads will just be washed away overnight.

while getting gas there was a homeless man with a sighn "cold, hungry and homeless" i was going to donate some food, id bought chicken tenders for lunch form the deli and had 1 big one left and a bunch of banannas...but someone stopped handed him some cash and what did this hungry homeless man go and do with that money....bought himself 2 packs of smokes...that money would have covered food and a hot cup of coffee...but nope, smokes it is...so the last peice of chicken is in my fridge...
I know that sounds super selfish...but seriously someone gives you cash because your desperate and you buy smokes instead of food?!?
i know smoking is a serious addiction but if your that hungry and cold and hungry why are you buying cigs? heck if your addiction is that bad, and this person gave you enough money for 2 packs, buy 1 and spend the other half of that money on actual food...heck for the price of 2 pacs of cigs he could have gone into walmart and bought himself a big fleece blanket, they had some left over fall themes ones on sale for $7 today...
or in exchange for that 2nd pack of cigs he could have gone to subway and got himself an entire small email (or a foot long sammich) a foot long is 2 meals...seriously mr.
so selfish me left him to enjoy his cigs and was rewarded with a kitten to find a home for...hmmm...lol
least the kitten is much more my speed in temrs of "charitable causes

well...shes decided the dogs arnt quite as scary as initially thought and has ventured out into the livingroom...Dozer cant understand why she wont wrestle wit his face like Willow does (he pins her don and ehr response is to gram hold of and bite his face which he aparently finds rather enjoyable...lol) Kitten is mor einterested in ignoring DOzer as he cries because he cant figure out why she doesnt love him. she has also discovered the fish tank....which is the source of all kitty entertainment for her right now as shes trying to catch the fish by pawing at the glass lol.
the good news is that shes not half as stressed now as she was when she inisitlaly saw the dogs lol

Pinky, and that is why I don't give money to people. If you're hungry, I'll buy you something to eat. Cold? I'll give you a blanket or an old coat if I have it, but no money.

well kitten has decided she owns the place lol, dozer is not something to be feared anymore and instead as long as hes not trying to sit or lay ON her is worthy of head butts...a little bit of tension between her and willow for a moment, some growling and hissing, but then thye gave eachother nose touches, which im assuming is the equivalent of butt sniffing in dogs (im mch better wiht dog behaviour than cat lol) and have now stopped growling at eachother and are going about thier buisness as normal. which means little bit is cleaning herself on the back of the couch and Willow is avoiding Dozer trying to sit on her head again LOL.
kitten has also decided that Jasper is her bestest buddy and rubs against him whenever hes neer, hes taken it upon himself to make sure kittne is throughly sniffed everytime it comes anywhere neer him and whenever there together asper makes sure dozer isnt allowed neer the kitten...if the kitten and jasper are together Jasper couldnt care less about the kitten though LOL. ahh fickleness.
kitten could be willows short haired twin though, thir markings are almost exact!

The area I was at in AZ, I-10 goes right through the town. Some of the panhandlers there made enough to eat out most every night and they weren't homeless either. They would sit right at the entrance and off ramps, sometimes with a dog. The signs sid "will work for food" but they woud not.

I do hope to see photos of your newest addition to the pack! I've never been a kitty person but who knows what we will find when we move.

You two do knows cigs are appetie depressants, right? If I was hungry..and only one person stopped with cash..I might opt for the smokes too :hu Most folks won't give ya cash. someone else probably came along and gave him a can of viennas and some crackers anyway. Just a theory :p

Another kitteh?! Well, hope she finds a home. That "reaction" actually sounds like the start of the cold DH and I just got over. Might wanna take a shot of whiskey ;) It worked for everyone else :hu
