Well I sure wish I'd known you needed some fleece...I have a million little fleece blankets that I get cheap during Christmas time and I have that EXACT shade of green  I also have some funky multi colored fleece throws that would look cute with your color scheme. :) and extra polyfill.....and I woulda shared had I known!!! ;) I think I have some white paint left too if I can find it when you bring the ducky butts I'll have it ready if ya want it :D

Happy Birthday RUBY!!!!!! she's so cute!

i dunno how to make the coolers (trying to find out) there usually some form of gell or water activated crystals

http://www.vkrpets.com/miracool-mat/

but id think something as simple as rice and keeping it in the freezer (or fridge) would work...
ive got a vision of taking a pillow case putting in 1/2 a cup of rice then sewing a channel to keep the rice in place in a thin layer add more rice and another channel, keeping this up untill you have a flat matt that has a thin layer of rice inside, then just roll it up and stuff it in the freezer and take out as nessicary...
(its how ive made pain wraps before and it works realy well at reataining heat or cold so i cant see why it wouldnt work on a larger scale.

Awesome pics! The beds turned out great!! We have a 2 door crate, and I love it too!

We have a FedEx story too... The other half broke his phone and ordered a replacement, which was being overnighted. He was home, and was watching the tracking number like a hawk. It was supposed to be delivered by 3:00, I think. At about 2:50 he checked the tracking and noted that it said "delivered, left at front door." He was HOT because the truck wasn't there, no one had been there and he had been watching! So he called, and they went round and round for a little bit, and finally the guy drove up the driveway and dropped off the box. We even called the neighbor across the road to check and make sure it hadn't been delivered there, which is the only other place that would make sense because there are no other residences within 100+ yards of our two driveways. Got to thinking about it and suspected the driver was running late, scanned it in as delivered so he could make his time cut, and then dropped it off when he made it over here about 30 minutes later. He just didn't expect someone to be home WAITING for the package! I happened to see our FedEx driver in the office the next day, and asked him about it, and he agreed that the guy probably fudged it and tried to mark it delivered so he wouldn't get marked down. Too bad the other half was waiting to pounce on the package! :gig

nice! lol...

its one hting if your running late, fine you cant control the traffic (and i dont think they should get in trouble for 30 mins here or there assuming its not because they stopped to chat up the girl at the gas station ect...) but to blatantly lie about it...(or in this case obviously not even bother to check if your at the right place) thats when i get all "hey do your job or ill do mine as a paying customer...i paid for shipping to MY house...i want it delivered to MY house lol.

Glad you guys reported it, my bet is thats an easy way for some packages to go missing "well i dleivered it and left it by the front door" to try and make it seem like it was stolen or something, when in reality "other" things are going on...

we got a light sprinkling of moisture last night, nothing like the high winds and thunderstorms they were calling for (and looking at the radar, it looks like they tracked further north than expected) today is overcast, and the humidity is up a little from where its been...but radars showing nothing but a few scattered rain patches over by memphis right now...
today is wednesday which means clean up day...so im going to get started on that in a few mins, woke up this morning doing the "march is here" thinking then realized...wait...its a leap year...dang it! one more day of february LOL...
other than clean up ive got nothing planned for today...if the weather continues to stay dry i might go out and pull some weeds that have tried to reestablish in my what will eventually be front planting bed...
ben tracking the sun every day to get a better idea of what i want and where i want them...
some parts of the bed are FULL shade and other parts do get part sun so thats nice (means i have room for some day lillies :D)
need a couple of 1x1 pressure treateds to make my climbing trellises for the front (will be growing varigated ivy and clematis up the front as both will do well in shade) I already have the design in mind and its an easy one but its hard to describe so ill post pics when its done.

but other than that, nothing fun planned.

gotta also put my shopping list together for groceries (and animal needs), use that to figure out my "free money" for the month. hoping to have enough to fill up the veggie beds and get some cool weather crops (lettuce mostly) started and buy the fencing i need, if i get nothing else done this month i NEED to get the fencing supplies sorted.

oh well...gonna go make this place pretty, sink full of dishes, bird cages and a litterbox to clean and a vacume to threaten and mentally maim the dogs with (i swear the vacume was designed to terrify dogs of all types and sizes...)
Laters folks!

Oh, I don't have a problem if the guy is late... He was just trying to meet his quotas and not get penalized (not exactly sure how the system works) for not delivering the package by the listed time. The other half was most upset because the guy marked it delivered, and obviously hadn't delivered it to the correct location. It was straightened out pretty quickly, and I think he flipped his lid more than he should have, but it was obvious to me that the delivery guy was trying to keep himself covered and didn't think anyone would notice. He's probably done that dozens of times and no one was ever there waiting to catch the package before it hit the porch! I can see where my other half was a little worried because if the package was marked delivered, he was responsible for returning the old phone so he wouldn't be penalized by keeping both phones (insurance claim and all), so he had nothing to show for the fact that the package hadn't arrived except that FedEx's system said 'delivered'. Fun times! :p

Yay for Dozer being a happy sleepy puppy!

well the rain arrived lol. wont be doing anythign outside this afternoon, AND the wind rabbed a couple of the fain flys and tried ot take off with them, so ive now got alot of torn up ones...so once the weather clears back out again they all get dried off and brought in and ill have to do some kind of sewing project to rework everything to make them better...
there still covering enough now ot keep the realy heavy rain out, but yeah...little frustrated with that...my own fault, should have thought it through a little bit more.
the buns are fine though, they all have hidey houses to keep them dry.
