lol, im having chicken tomorrow

trying to get things done, just wish i had a little extra money comming in on a semi regular basis. just so i could progress a little bit faster...

Peruse CL and maybe even freecycle to find things you can make a profit on like you did those flowers. I have been doing a bit of that lately myself We're having a big dinner at church today. I dunno if we're staying for it or not. I can't have most of it, neither can DD, so it's hard for us to stay for things like that. We'll probably come home and fix something simple. Then fish for dinner DD is too old for all the Easter festivities for the kids, so i'm looking forward to a quiet day of rest and relaxation Supposed to visit the inlaws after church and maybe do some laundry. Beyond that...I'll either be on the couch or at the pond again

Happy Easter rom the easter Babbits!

were 21 days old today and starting to act alot more like big rabbits...today the easter human brought us our first ever clover! NOM!
(5 of the 6 babies, baby #6 is behind momma)

And
Rowans Nest of wigglers.
all are doing nicely, 4 "pink" (REW) and 5 "black" (Most likely Otter)

todays plan includes finnishing the cabinate/windo painting and painting the cabinate handles...otherwise NO plans for toay

well all cabinates except for the one over the fridge are DONE. doors back on too. need to remove the handles at some point and get them painted, but the big job is done.
I put a coat of paint on the back door and all the trim i can currenlty reach...yes i knwo i may end up having to replace the backdoor if we cant figure out how to salvage it...but i figure ive got to live with it untill its fixed or i can afford to replace it so it might as well look semi ok

then while waiting for that first coat to dry i painted my 3 flower pots (pics coemming later) did a rooster on one and sunflowers on the other 2 (my theme for the kitchen is chickens and sunflowers) and i think they came out quite nicely. i need to find some low light plants to go in them though as the kitchen doesnt get enough light for herbs to do well. there going to go on a shelf over the window

now im taking 5 mins to have a drink, then ill figure out lunch and then more painting for the trim and the door.

its slowly comming together folks

i opend the ducks pen today for the first time to let them wander in the grass now the fence is up (and bolted down) took them about 3 hours to decide to come out but once they made that first brave step that was it, they took a good bath in their water bowl (big rubber one, deep enough to dunk but not deep enough that they cant stand and get in and out easily) nibbled some grass and weeds and are currently unbathing and preening. their big duck feathers are starting to come in on thier chests and under their wings so they are looking incredibly scruffy right now, but they seem happy to have acess to grass. gonna clean out their house completly tomorrow (and the bunnies) and give them fresh bedding, hoping now they can come out every day their actual night run/house will stay cleaner.

and yeah, thats about it. im trying to decide if i want noodles or a sammich for lunch...i had bacon egg and cheese for breakfast...ahh decisions desicions!

The fish was sooooooooo good for lunch DD loves bass now I'm about to go fishing again

Cindi, hes yours if you want him, do ya for $20 (as long as i can retain the option to breed back to him...as im debating keeping him myself) (no rush, least another 3 weeks before he can go home ) or im otherwise looking for a good sized dog house for a pair of geese

im PRETTY sure hes a "squirrel" chinchilla (blue chin) as hes not got the disting black banding a typical chin does, instead hes almost an opal, slate undercoat, white intermediary blue band and then the fawn tipping, he only has black tipping on his ears...everywhere else silver and fawn, its realy odd but sooo pretty...
hes going to be a BIG boy too! thinking abour 10 1/2lbs. hes just stunning with a beautiful head and structure, definalty going to be a good meaty daddy!


oh well...Lunch nommed...time to get back to the big can of white paint thats calling my name

I'll have to request permission since DH is the rabbit man around here lately. It's so cute. He cuts grass for them and takes it to each cage and talks to them He LOVES my little calico girl Maybe we could breed him to her and get some nice mixes and then breed him back to one of the female calico offspring for a rex coated calico? Is that possible miss bunny genetics genious?! It'd be sooooo cool if it could be done!! I haven't a clue though..I'm bunny genetics retarded

if you were to breed him to any of your girls, then breed his daughter back to him you should get at least some Rex Coated babies in the litter. rex is resessive so rex to normal = normal carrying rex. rex to normal carrying rex = some rex some normal...
dont know if youd get the calicos, im not sure how the harl gene works exactly, but you should get castors/reds for sure so i cant see why you wouldnt get some calicos
