yeah, once the first deal i tried to get fell through i felt bad, i knew the property wasnt the best but it was closer to work and really cheep.....but i over reacted and got down till i read your journal and decided to start looking again and not get too invested until the paper's are signed. if onlky i had read your journal before i ran up one credit card trying to "feel better", but at least i didnt waste the money on crap...i got supplies for prepping and garden stuff

yes, everyone always talks about the crud they would buy or party they would throw if they won the lottery.....they always stare mutely when i say i would buy land, donate my 10%, and then deposit the rest and just live on my land, even at 1% if you have few expenses then that is fine. if it was over $2 million then i wouldnt even return to work

man that would be good, but at least i have a good job that allows me to enjoy what i am doing and is very stable <knock on wood>

I'd buy land, LOTS, and stick a house right in the middle of it, set up solar, dig a well, build a huge barn for all my animals, tithe, and still work my butt off every day because i can't sit still anyway  But i'd be independent :old

DH has his 'lotto property' all picked out and, every time we drive by it, he says that someday it will be ours  It is for sale, and would be wonderful (600+ acres, private lake, off grid, lodge- which I guess is just a fancy pants house- completely fenced with an automatic, solar powered gated entrance. Yeah, it's awesome) but I have little tolerance for pipe dreams, so I usually just

I think we all have those dreams. For me, it would be 10% or more right off the top to church and some favorite charities, then pay off all the bills, finish up this house so we could sell it, or rent it out, find my land, build a house and barn the way I want then, then live the life I've always wanted to live. Like WBF, I can't sit still, so I'd have my garden, orchard and animals but have time to go canoeing and horseback riding. I hate cleaning the house, so maybe I'd hire a maid.

im just glad i can be an inspiraton and comfort to others :)

oh if i won the lottery, a little thatched cottage on vast acerage by the sea
it would be primarily off grid (exception of internet and tv (because theres just a couple of channels that if i dont have to live without them...id rather not lol)) and would have a pool, a proper pool long enough to swim laps in but pretty enough with a waterfall to just float about on a lazy day sipping fruity drinks my nommy cabana boy would deliver:lol:

oh well early ay today got some stuff to do this morning and this afternoon shoudl then be relitivly quiet...
woke up eveyr 2 hours last night :barnie but it was every time the puppies squeeked and they didnt squeek for more than a second which means they are feeding right around every 2 hours which is awesome!

so yeah.
Breakfast...then stuff.

bit of a crazy morning, got back and ruby had eaten her breakfast too quick and brought it back up and then aparently (because she REFUSED to go this morning) had to poop and so that was...well a-mess...
and the baby gate on the back bedroom had fallen down and dozer had decided best to go in and clean up ALL the cat food that had been put out for breakfast...them promptly puke it al back up again...FUN! i swear some days.

but i did get an email from a memphis spay/neuter clinic and while it would be a 2 hour drive one way, the prices would MORE than make up for the gas money, so im now trying to find out what they need form me and when i can take them in (id rather have willow and dozer done on the same day given the distance one way...least i can go drop them off and then do something with the day before picking them up and heading home...make it 1 journey and be done with it.

so fingers crossed there
and if this all pans out...im spending the day here!

http://memphiszoo.org/

ill pack a lunch, grab my camera and "go home" (i just fel RIGHT at the zoo and always said id happily take a tent and move in...lol)
and yes, i CAN fill an entire day wandering aimlessly round a zoo lol.

so fingers crossed pleas, the funds are very limited so im trying to jump on this quickly...

otherwise...
