thanks,
still nothing...but its still raining so she could be hunkered down under a bush somewhere.
i took a walk along the main road and theres no black kitty bodies, i stopped at the shelter (whihc is at the bottom of the hill just around the corner of our house) and let them know if she turns up she belongs to me...and i put word out at the industrial estate thats also at the bottom of the hill (she typically hangs out on the hill) and gave them my # to call if they see her.
i also walked a good mile in the opposite direction too, again no kittie bodies along the only main road...
and no pathetic mewing when i called her (which means shes not stuck in a tree again LMAO)

shes so super friendly that im wondering if soeones picked her up or taken her in, but she DID have a collar and tag on so *fingers crossed* and she is microchipped too.

*grumbles*
silly kitty is going to get a good talking to when she gets home, she never goes far so im hoping its the weather thats got her hunkered down somewhere warm and dry...

i wish i could keep her strictly indoors, but shed have me killed in the nght if i tried it...

I hope she comes home soon. Our Molly went missing for 3 days two summers ago. We hung posters, went all around the neighborhood. I finally sat up one night with the sliding door open and sure enough she came home. She'd been coming up on the deck and trying to get in, but only in the middle of the night. I figured that out by setting up the video camera at the door, where I'd placed a dish of food. I just wasn't sure who was eating.
Molly is really shy though and wouldn't ever approach a stranger. We figure she was probably no more than 10 feet from the back door silly girl She doesn't meow either. She has a tiny little squeak.

aww, poor girl, im glad she came home safe and sound...

not too worried about hearing tempi, i could be in a dead sleep and id still hear her through the doors...shes LOUD...
im also not too worried about her eating, shes an excelent hunter...

i guess im more worried someones taken her home with them lol, shes a mush face, but shes not a big fan of being picked up so i think shes just having an adventure...
shes such a teenager!

ugh tempi is soooo grounded when she comes home...
still no meow from her...
what is it with teenagers, not a phonecall, not a nothing...

i must admit im a little bit worried at this point, she doesnt typically stay away from home for more than a few hours.
so i put an add on craigslist asking folks to keep their eyes peeled for her
(and put that she needs special medication, ive found that typically deteres "good samaritans" from deciding to keep them in these kind of situations...)

even the dogs are missing her, ruby keeps asking to go out, she wanders the perimeter then comes back in...she doesnt need to pee shes just checking for tempi...

Ugh...
this is why i didnt want a cat before that little black monster entered my life...

if folks could keep her in their thoughts and if your the praying type, pray she comes home safely asap, i know myself, the babies and the dogs would greatly apreciate it.

never thought id ever worry about a cat this much...wasnt ever a cat person till tepi came along.

thanks, the sad part is shes probbaly sat on the other side of the fence in the thick bushes laughing at me...trying to spite me because i left her in my sisters care for a week...

especially considering my sister did NOT follow feeding directions and only fed her about 1/2 of what she EXPECXTS to be fed...

yup thats what this is...spite!

the kittens thankfully dont seem to be missing her too much, there eating, playing and being themselves...
heck i think the dogs miss her more.

shes still not back this mornign so i emaield the shelter with a picture, if shes going to turn up anywhere it'll be there.
and im going to run off a couple of posters to put up at the industrial park, and the condos across the street as well as n our neighborhood...

im getting a distinct feeling someones taken her in and isnt letting her back out at this point because this is not like her at all...

in other "joyfull news" (yup this is turning into one of THOSE weeks)

we lost a chicken last night...
dads been locking them in at night because mum had surgery...
well he missed one last night, least i can only assume it was last night
i whent back there by chance this morning to check the hill to see if i could see tempi back there and theres one of the easter eggers by the back fence. head was still attatched so i dont think its a case of a racoon trying tp pull her through...
im wondering if she got seperated from the flock, and locked out last night and paniked...mabe a heart attack or a broken neck? she was ice cold and stiff and wet this morning (we didnt have rain overnight which makes me think shes been there longer but she wasnt hen pecked or missing feathers ect...so its very odd...
no signs of damage, no puncture marks...

poor girl.

i tossed her over the fence onto the hill for the turkey vultures that hang around to enjoy, they never try and bother the live chickens but im sure they'll take care of dead one swiftly...

ugh...just hope this isnt a sign of things to come...and that Tempi is just out there partying it up or something.

in other news...
my sister turns 19 today!

I'm glad I don't believe in signs or fate. Sometimes poo just happens :)

Someone might have taken her in until they can find out where she came from. I've done that in a storm. Figured Amira could deal with a house guest until the blizzard passed and we saw a missing kitty sign.

I hope she turns up safely for you - maybe you should also put some info out on craigslist or something like that. Try to attract all the attention you can for her.
