Oh man, that stinks! I guess I'd have to be dragging out an ice chest in the interim and pretend I'm camping...

Sorry you're having to deal with this toooooo!

@deb, I actually own a mini fridge...its at my parents house.
right now money is so tight unless I could find one free I just cant swing it. I sent dad what cash I had ready ot book the truck (im paying half hes covering the rest) and this last batch of groceres that I bought yesterday sucked the last $50 in the monthly budget...each month right now Is penny to penny.
if the fuse doesn't work ill beputting out a "hey everyone I know does anyone have a mini fridge...or large coolers...call...
I think im more frustrated that it did it now...not 6 months ago whn it would have ben wort fixing it...not a week before the move when it wouldn't have been quite so painfull...but now...a month before the projected move date and the day I spend OVER my monthly food budget to get stuff to make this new diet work...I could have bougth $5 in ramen and been fine for the month but noooo...

just waking up some, having a coffee and then ill head into town to get those replacement fuses....
heres to hoping.

well, is the fridge, eveyrhitng im reading online says either thecircuit board is fried or its the condenser (this particular brand and year has a condenser that hates power surges) *SIGH*
so no ive got a call out to frineds for BIG coolers...I think I can last the 3 1/2 weeks if I can get hold of a couple big coolers, pack them down with te frzen stff at the bottom fridge stuff neer the top and stuck them under the house (dirt crawlspace) were supposed to be in the 40s with overnights in the 30's over the next 10 days with only 1 day heading into the 60's so I think if I staff them under there where it maintains a failry constant temp I should be able to keep going foras long as need...
the other option is to bump up the date and move 3 dogs, 3 cats and 3 bird cages into their spare bedroom until the rooms done... 1 of their dogs HATES ruby, an the cats are not going to be happy about being locked inside...so that would be super stressfull and an option I want t refrain from unless completely absolutely nessicary.

soooo hoping this is just a bad end to feb and not a preview of what march wll be bringing :/

oh well gonna go feed and water the bunnies then take a shower...least the fuse for the lights is fixed, hanging out with friends for dinner tonight, ihop...and righ now im planning on chicken crepes because damnit I deserve something after this new case of yucks!
seriously house...why must you pas your suicidal tendencies on to my apliances?! you couldn't have just waited to fall apart until move date could you?! oh no, that wouldn't be neer dramatic enough.

well 3 coolers scavenged from friends and picking up the mini fridge tomorrow, its cool out tonight so they are all out on the back deck...ill get them a little better organized after the mini fridge arrives tomorrow, figure out what I NEED handy...
I know im going to loose some meat, gonna have a few mad cooking days, the ground stuff seems to be thawing the quickest of the freezer stuff so thatll need cooking up soonest, gnna make scotch eggs with the sausage meat, and a meatloaf with some of the ground beef...and ive got 3lbs of chicken, wish I had a pressure canner now...

I hope theres no more rocks coming my way...I don't think I can take much more.

everyones MORE than welcome, im realy hoping this mini fridge does get cold enough to freeze everything like its owner says, least I could cook things up and freeze the leftovers...*fingers crossed*
this morning im going to make a caveman keto dish called eggs in a cloud, egg whites beaten to stiff peaks, mix in cold cooked bacon, seasonings and cheese, plop on baking sheet and make a cup and back fro 5 mins, then put the yolk in the cup and bake again untll yolk is done as desired.
since ive got tto leave here in an hour I figure they are portable and I can eat them on the way if I have to, plus itll use up a couple strips of bacon and 2 eggs lol.

thankfully It was cold last night, supposed to be 31/18 today too so the coolers are out on the back deck by the back door and seem to be staying good and chilly.
picking up some cages and carriers from E and a pair of lionhead rabbits she doesn't want and has asked me to sell...fingers crossed, they are a pretty pair, but I don't need another project and lionheads arnt even remotely big enough to be worth eating so...
but hes pretty so I may breed him to my angora does before I sell him, just to see what colors I get :)

hanging out with frineds for dinner tonight at Panera bread, already got my lower carb choices picked outi think, im saving carbs today specifically so I can have 1/2 their "grown up grilled cheese" (and a bowl of soup nom!)
