:p Deb Is right lol
Glad you're going to get your trip to ikea! I need another salt grinder but I'm afraid I'll go there and find too many other things that I can't live without lol

lol! true, true lol.
I know the feeling, im going to need a 2nd trip at some point if I don't find other options, they have countertops for their portable kitchens that would be perfect for my craft/"kitchen" space and cheap too....but were probably going to be taking the prius and theres me my sister and my mum going and well have a baby goat in the car on the way home so I doubt theres be enough space for an 8ft length of countertop too lol.
ill probably just end up making my countertop...ply, paint, self leveling epoxy should be fine but still, girl can drool right?! lol.
since were going in person im going to do a little extra website browsing to make sure theres nothing else I want that I cant realy afford lol.

well theres going to be a bit of an age gap in the gooseys, got note my babies will ship june 2nd...jemima is doing ok right now as a lone quack...so hopefully shell take to the new guys once they get here.
rhodebar eggs should be here Thursday too :)

spent today sat outside with my computer, beautiful day, just wish it was hot enough to warm the pool enough for a swim...

tomorrows weather may put a hold on the ikea/goat trip...if I don't pick Frodo up by Friday hell stay with his dam until 8 weeks old...id rather get him home and bottle feed but she seems to do a very good job at handling her dam raised babies and making them very sweet...not gonna drive 2 1/2 hours if its pouring and thunderstorming tomorrow...:/

in good news another 3 buns got deposits on them today so that's 5 of the 8 older rex babies under deposit and 1 of the 5 angora babies under deposit.
ive also got the 2 very young rex babies in the nest box...im hoping the tri-color is a girl if so shell stay.
if I can get the rest of the angora and the English lop kits sold for what im asking itll pay off the balance on the loan for the land clearing in TN completely, would be nice to pay that off and forget about it and start working on paying down my credit card and my car...
I want to be debt free in 5 years so when its time to move to the next adventure I can do so with a clean slate.
im still not sure what the next adventure will be, 1/2 of me wants to buy a huge piece of land in tn, build my house and continue homesteading....
the other half of me wants to buy a small camper trailer (that's light enough to be plled by my little yarris) or RV that can tug my little car and go on an adventure before deciding... go be a gypsy for a while...who knows...either way, 5 years to pay things off is my goal.

and yeah that's it for now :)

I love random acts of culture, they did a funny one in a grocery store. :)

now don't know if were going today, rains not supposed to hit until later today (3pm ish...) but sister wasn't feeling good last night and mums now "well its supposed to rain and..."
*shakes head*
if we don't pick up Frodo before the weekend the breeder will dam raise him...id prefer to get him home and bottle feed him so hes easier to handle but she spends a lot of time with her kids so that's not that big a deal....WOULD have liked to go to ikea though :/
*shrugs*
if we don't ill have someone take me to lowes laer to pick up some bird netting to reinforce the back fence so the babies can have acess to the pasture and Bilbo can play with the girls safer (he cant escape when they gang up on him in the stall so hes penned seperatly...)

got my title transfer request sent off yesterday (after much mussing and fussing, was given the wrong fax number like 10 times) so hopefully it wont be long before I can say screw it and go on my own.

otherwise not much planned for today
clean out the incy and get it up and running, eggs should get here tomorrow will let them sit till Friday so they can re-settle before setting.
and that's about all I got.

well no aby goat, gonna leave him with his momma until weaning...
sister did compromise though and we whent to the slightly closer ikea (whos complex also swallowed a huge christmass tree shop) so we spent the afternoon wandering.
I managed to pick up the unit I wanted for $10 less alreay assembled form the "as is" room. will have to pop the top off and remove each of the sides to cut the litterbox acess in...though I may put the acess in the thinner back panel since my boxes arnt hooded I don't have to worry about having to put acess only in a certain place, the thinner back panel is much easier to replace than any of the structural elements so that may be the best way to do it...but well see.
shelves come out, cut acess add the doors and castors to the bottom and itll be good to go, so since the weathers kinda yuck, ill work on that today.

my room needs tidying anyway and theres still boxes to go through so ive got to get on that...got my dr apt tomorrow and a trip to Walmart so gonna get some shoe boxes to start sorting my meds into...(ive got an entire box of meds)
mum ha some under bed storage boxes she says I can have so thatll help with the clothing overflow issue (and I REALY don't have a lot of clothes...)
I think I want to start saving up to replace the cabinates ive got in my room right now with actual kitchen base cabinates, that would give me more storage space for kitchen-ish type stuff and craft stuff and get thigns looking tidier...

It's fun to make plans, isn't it? I enjoy looking at a space and envisioning how it will look when I am done. Of course, some of those visions are being slow to realize...

agreed.
in good news, rhodebar eggs came in, box a little smushed but only 1 egg Crushed...he sent 12 so theres 11 in the incubator...im REALY crossing the fingers on this.
Id love a roo and 5-6 hens for keeping...the rest is a bonus...but well see.
did the math and its hard to belive the goaties at now 8 weeks old.
Frodo is staying with his dam until june 25th when hell join the homestead.

I found a trike I REALY want...its a pipe dream, but ive got the image in my head of how dang cool shed be all fixed up...one day...
I love how shes a working trike, something I can sit keira in the back of along with some camping gear an just go off...replace the tires with some good quality white walls, the paint with an olive and cream military/indian cycles style paint job (with some hints of pink fo course) and the leather with a whiskey/reddish tonned leather and polish up the chrome...shed look sooo fantastically uniquely cool!
but yeah...one day...this is the kind of trike im looking for!

http://newjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/4399029527.html

otherwise not much going on, have to go back on thurs for myshot since they closed early today and walmrt wasn't exactly speedy with the fulfilling part...(they couldn'tfigure out my insurance and had to call them...sillies!) at first she insisted because she hadn't seen the gap coverage (my real script coverage starts june but I have a program to assist me in the waiting time) that it cant be real "ive never seen THAT, are you sure that's not some fake thing...?" so after 5 mins I finally convinced her to call my insrance...she did and they sorted it out immediately...
thankgoodness.

got home and starte don the mesh for the back fence backup for the goats....got almost done with 1 section when the heavens opend and I had to abandon ship...will work on finishing that tomorrow.
Bilbo no longer remains in his playpen and insists on being in the stall with the girls...which means I need to get them safe acess to the pasture and I need to not be such a wrry wart lol.

and yeah....that about it.
