well Binxy goes to the vet this evening, and by tomorrow hell be a little lighter...finally got an appointment at a low coast spay/neuter clinic for him...there seems to be plenty of places offering for female cats but no funds for male cats...guess they figure if they spay all the girls its not so much a big deal if the boys are walking round all hormonal.
ive been lucky with binx, no desire to roam, already a lazy snuggle butt, but this past week or so ive notiuced him getting a little more hissy with my parents neutered male, and the early warning signs of spraying...so REALY glad I finally caught the funds right :)
bout time too, I always feel like such a hypocrite telling people to spay neuter when one of mine isn't done...hes the last on the list though :)

otherwise
got my hammock chair up, slowly gonna work on making that little area my spot...thinking some little solar twinkle lights in the trees and hanging lanters (its shaded under there so those would have to be battery powered) mabe an outdoor rug even and some cushions and a blanket for chillier fall nights...of course everything will get stored away come winter lol.
ive got a couple of wing-rigs up there right now, 1 is a coper swirly and the other has crystals, im thinking a couple nice wind chimes and too :)
itll be good to have "my spot" I guess....

otherwise not much happening right now...

so definatly off this morning...
but whatever.

microwave installers supposed to be coming between 11am and 3pm (you know cause a smaller window wouldn't have been helpful lol) and that's about it for plans. lol.
gonna work on the bunny tractor today, gonna put a floor in that's not dig-able, and use the dog crates tray as a roof, still need to decide if the hidey house will be inside or out, probably inside since I don't have the otols to cut the crate bars lol...but hoping to get that finished by this afternoon and move the mixed angora kits in...those guys are destined for freezer camp if they don't sell in the next week...so I want them finished on grass and hay.
once they go to freezer camp ill move the other 3 angora and the 3 dutch kits in, they will all be right around 8-9 weeks at that point and again they'll stay there until bought or reach a good butcher weight...my sister says we cant eat "her dutch" but I cant keep feeidng them (and IM the one paying for all their food right now) so if they don't sell I don't have much choice...I cant keep feeding her "pets" out of my pocket (and my time and energy)
got someone interested in a couple of the enlgish angoras so *fingers crossed there*

thankfully all the rex save for my broken blue otter keeper and the torted tri young buck are sold/under deposit...
theres a lady looking to trade me a doe for a buck so im hoping shell want him so I can bring in an unrelated doe...I may even buy another doe and an unrelated buck off her depending on what shes got. the rex seem to be my better sellers.

still working on a sale on the angora...no bites yet, but i want to sell all of them...
and i need to work on winterizing the rabbitry over the next month or so, i want to either put roves on the cages or build some kind of pavilion type structure over them before the snow starts coming.

i also may start the fence in the goat yard today to separate out the bucks...im realy hoping the microwave guys come early so i can work on this stuff without worrying...
infact, i should go pen the ducks and geese just to be safe.

microwave coundlt be fitted due to the fact that its some weird vent fan and not a standard under cabinate mount, so they are going to rienburse the instal fee and were going to have to get creative...fun times.
binx is home safe and sound, half had to wrestle him form the tech everyone loved him...hes a couple ounces lighter without his "manhood", but still weighs almost 11lbs (huge compared to 5lb tempi lol)
nice ladies, didn't talk down to me like I was clueless (kinda not used to that lol) got him home opend the carrier and he ran straight to the food bowl lol.

got the first part of dads gift wrapped (we have to build the 2nd part tomorrow while hes at work) and trying to decide what to do for dinner...its a nice evening and im thinking were going to try and get at least a little pool time in tonight so im thinking light fare outside, mabe a salad and sandwich options and soup...

and yeah...that's the day.
got the angora kits into the bunny tractor...
supposed ot have some buns going home this weekend too...fingers crossed for a few more!

got a rex bun going home this afternoon, got an elop baby in iso (hes just not been gaining weight and this morning was weak, he may not make it :/ hes 6 weeks and just so little compared...)
the ups and downs of homestead life huh?!
kinda a rain showers on and off hot and sticky kind of day so not sure what, if anything, will get done.
gonna see what parts I need to fix my little chicken coop and try and get that done this weekend and I need to get the buck pen done this weekend too, so those are the plans for the next few days.

otherwise...nothing to report
