Ugh, hungry when she goes to bed? :he Then it is another 8-10 hours before she eats? Way to slow that metabolism and signal the body to hang onto every calorie that comes in!!! Double-sheesh!

Here's the one I used. It's more for pan pizzas I guess, the dough isn't stretchy like the stuff at the pizza parlor. You just have to basically mash it into place. I still like it though!

1 teaspoon white sugar
1 1/2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

I still try and stick to the real food diet just cut down on the fat alot.
Nothing wrong with healthy natural fats.

For the carb intolerant....here is a great low carb "crust" recipe. http://cleochatra.blogspot.com/2009/05/zucchini-pizza-crust-recipe.html
I have tried this recipe many times. My son hates it, but hubby and I like it. I have also cut it in to strips and dunked it in marinara sauce and used it like bread sticks.

It's a great way to get rid of excess zucchini from the garden! :D It's kind of frittata-ish.

I practice the wifezilla method as well. Pizza crusts in different sizes are pre/semi-baked and stored in the freezer. I also make my own homemade sauce and freeze that in different size bags depending on what size pizza we're making. This way the kids can make themselves a pizza with whatever nonsense they want to put on it anytime they want.

I always make a double batch of dough and stretch out to size that will fit in gallon bag. Then I pre-bake for a few mins.--just enough where I can lift it off the pan and put in the bag. After the pre-bake I add the sauce, cheese and toppings. Into the freezer and a very quick meal when needed.

Some different (but VERY tasty) pizzas:

1. Mashed Potato Pizza
~butter the crust, add mashed potatoes, onions, cheese and bacon

2. Bacon Chicken Ranch
~homemade ranch dressing, cheese, chicken, onion, mushroom and bacon

3. Chicken Alfrado
~alfrado sauce, chicken, onion, spinach, and cheese

4. Taco Pizza
~taco sauce, ground hamburger (or deer ), onion, cheese. after baking add: lettuce, sour cream and salsa

I'm sure there are many more, just some of my favs
