Nothing like lots of prayer and a good night's sleep to make the world a brighter place. God takes what man means for evil and turns it to good. People who try to do evil to others will always have it come full circle and whack them in the behind. :hugs

What cuties you are adding to the rabbitry!

Aly, did I miss something.....what happened with that farm you two were looking at before Ernie's operation? Still in the works in the background, perhaps?

As for your family, keep the course, I'm sure you guys will come out on top!

And as for bunnies - we have lots of wild bunnies around here, and every night, when hubby and I are out watching the chickens, one comes out from under the hostas, next to the garage, and eats along with the chickens! I'll have to take the camera outside tonight and catch him - he's so cute! For all the rabbits we have, I don't have a problem with them in my garden, and I attribute it to not having a lawn out there. The rabbits spend their time eating whatever weeds are coming up, and they don't seem to even give my garden a second glance!

I used to have a siamese rabbit named Henry, he was huge, and a love. I don't much care for having bunnies anymore, though, the dogs always got them somehow, no matter how strong the cage we built for them :(

Cute bunnies! I really feel for you and the problems you are having with your inlaws. Me and my ex's parents were good friends even tho me and my ex did not last. I actually rented one of their places, the farm they own for the past two years before I moved to this place last September. After my new Fiance came into the picture, about the last year I was there it turned into a nightmare. They were always there on the weekends messing around with the horses and diggin in the pond with the escavator. Bringin all there friends out there on the weekends, etc etc..It GOT WAY TOO MUCH. We are SOOOO much happier here. Life goes on. I hope you find a new place soon. My ex's parents were exactly how you described. If they had a bad day they wanted to make everyone else day bad as well. AND OMG if they did the littlest minute thing for you, they wouldnt let you forget it til the day you die. Good luck! Hope everything works itself out.

Aly keeping your chin up and not letting yourself get drawn in to the garbage is the BEST way to handle difficult people!

I am sorry they seem to be out to hurt you. I am glad that you are able to rise above it though :hugs

Quail, those baby bunnies are totally precious. Seeing them really makes me miss raising rabbits, but at least I can live it vicariously through the forums. More pics any time you want!

That orange-y brown color is called Tortoise (Tort, for short) and the ones with the white would be called broken torts. The one with the white on his ears is so cute I just wanna drive down there and kidnap him! (Kitnap?)

I'm trying to stay positive, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared.

We have until Monday to make any repairs or maintenence to the house. Then we are being inspected and they want to see the kids, too.

Ann, there's a few things that have us in limbo about applying for a loan for the other place. One of them being our income situation and wanting to be absolutely sure we can afford the other place before we leap on it.

My friend was here, who's a foster parent with the county, and has a good idea what they'd be looking for. She spent 2 hours with me and we combed the house for anything they might, and I stress might, pick on us for. She said that she didn't really see any problems, but she said lets not give them anything, not one thing, that they could complain about.

We even laid new carpet down the hallway today and I'm painting the bathroom this weekend.

We spoke to an attorney as well, who advised us to go through all the steps. If we pass, which we will, then he said we can legally face our accusers in a court of law, especially since we've already proved that a lot of what was reported on us was false. (I.E. they said my kids have no medical care or dentist, which last time I checked they did, but even if they didn't, that isn't illegal.)
