Wow I would probably want to sleep for a week after going through the emotional roller coaster you were on in that garage. I am glad you found your toys. Stuff like that is worth so much.
I'm now on the hunt for a copy of Leo the Lop. I will give the copy I purchase to my mom in trade for mine.
ETA:
I found Leo the Lop on Amazon for $2.01, plus $3.99 shipping. In almost new condition to boot! Identical to my copy!
E said buy it, when it arrives, we're taking it to my mom and trading her for my childhood copy!!
I know, I'm pathetic.
Even more pathetic, I created an Amazon account, just so I can get that book.
I had several of the Serendipity books by Stephen Cosgrove when I was a kid. Until I started looking for Leo the Lop, I had forgotten about the Serendipity books! At one time, as a kid, I had Little Mouse on the Prairie, Flutterby, and there was one more. Can't remember the name.
It's rainy, but not really that cold out. Like a warm rain?
We're going on a feed run this morning.
Farmfresh, I'm thinking it was Serendipity?
I also wanted to apologize, I'm not normally so OCD about anything, and honestly, I am not crazy and didn't skip my meds or anything. I was just really hurt and I think I reacted badly, and I need to learn to let the little stuff go.
I mean, really, I could just have bought the replacement book for myself.
And yes, I'm showing my age. My childhood copy of Leo the Lop was printed in 1977 and I was born in 1978.
