Going to auction with Aly is always an adventure. I learned -- Don't turn to her and ask "should I?" Of course the answer will be yes. :gig  But if I can't understand the auctioneer or can't get close enough, she is always willing to bid for me. ;)

I'm glad we don't have a livestock auction close to here either, I would definitely get in trouble too!

Does it help my case if I point out that the 7 rex bunnies here actually belong to Becca and not me? :D

Today was absolutely a fantastic day for being outside - naturally I was stuck indoors doing the Christian Cafe thing at church.

Did you get much (should I say any) coop building done?

Hey, QA, you should use that closeup of Job's face for your avatar. I just noticed you don't have one. :D

I had thought about that, Becca, but I don't know how to do an avatar!

Supposedly we're going to work on the coop addition today...we'll see....FIL has this irritating ability to interrupt ALL and I do mean ALL plans for the day.

Speaking of which, he's here now...wants E to go with him to pick up some bricks...E said maybe this afternoon, because this morning we want to work on the coop...Honestly, if FIL would leave it's only going to take us maybe 2 hours to finish.....UGH.

He's out that jabbering with E like they're a pair of old hens or something. Women do not talk or gossip as much as my FIL.

OK, well, FIL finally went home around 11 am I think....and we went right out and started on that coop! Took a break around 2 pm and had the following phone message from Becca on the machine: "Got the coop done yet?" :gig

We aren't completely done, but we are 3/4 of the way done...much better than it was this morning! :ya

We have two of the three walls done, the third wall is framed in, and the rafters are up for the tin roof. Floor is down as well, and ready for the vinyl/laminate flooring to go down (haven't picked any up yet, but it's ready!).

Here's some progressive pics:

I think we're done for today, because my parents offered us free bricks for our fire ring, so I think we're going to go get those before the auctioneers show up tomorrow to get all the auction stuff done. The house is auctioning off this Sunday.

ETA: All of the OSB will be replaced with T1-11 to match the two sheets on the front. And we plan to frame in a couple windows. :)
