OK, so it's only temporary for right now, but it has potential of becoming permanent if they like me!
It's in Home Health again, caring for 1 elderly lady, 12 hours shifts...and the pays OK - not great but better than NO PAY - and the coolest thing is, THEY FOUND ME!
Ok, so my kids' 4H instructor works home health caring for this lady, and one of their girls needs to be out of town for a few days - and their regular Sub quit on them - so they need someone to help/fill in.
Our 4H director called me and asked if I knew anyone who'd be able to help them fill in for the next week. I asked her if I could do it. She said, sure if you're interested!
Sooooo I start Saturday...I'll work Sat and Sun, and they might need me Wed and Fri next week.
IF I do a good job, if the woman's daughter approves of me, if they feel they can trust me - because they are very protective of their charge and who can blame them there? - then I may become their permanent Sub!
WHOOT!!
So, not permanent, maybe not even full time, but it's not going to take me away from the house/family/E all day, and I'm only going to be TWO MILES from home - so if there is a home emergency, not far for me to get back here.
