It has been so hot here that we put an air conditoner in for nights and it has messed my sinuses up too going from the heat into the cold. I keep waking up with a sore throat and runny nose. I am afraid it is going to turn into the same thing you have. Hope you feel better and good luck thinning on your chickens(I wish I lived closer!).

Where did you guys get this summer cold? Please don't bring it to me. :bun
Well, we think we got it from being up at his Dad's house a few days ago. His dad keeps the AC running 24/7 "for the dog" he says. We stopped up to talk to him for a few minutes, and literally were shivering before we left. It wasn't even that hot of a day. When we walked outside it felt sweltering, and we started getting sick that night.

We don't have AC down here, so I think we messed ourselves up by visiting his dad. :(

None of the kids seem to have it, but they didn't go in Papa's house, either.

Hmmm, I wonder about the a/c. I remember visiting my grandparents once right after school got out. Same deal, a/c running 24/7. I got sick as a dog.

I'm feeling some better, but kind of sweaty.

I've been drinking a lot of water - and there fore running to the bathroom a lot to pee. I think I could have watered 15 lawns today.

Right now I have a headache, so I'm thinking tylenol and then bed.

I have a Columbian Cochin pipping in the incubator right now, and 8 guinea eggs that are looking good. The guineas should be hatched in time to sell at Mt. Hope.

How are you feeling this morning sweetie?

I thought about you this morning when I was staring at my new duck babies....I don't know how you get anything done with all the cuteness hatching around your place.....they're mesmerizing.

Hope you got some good rest last night and are back up to par this morning! :hugs

Morning, lori! I'm still stuffy, woke up cranky and so did he. I'm kind of over all the cuteness, and am ready for most of them to go to new homes.

Have spent the morning bickering with Dh about the wedding we are supposed to go to today.

We might not go.

I'm sick and tired of getting lectured every time we go somewhere (i.e. friends house, get together, etc.) that I "better keep an eye on my kids because he's not going to keep an eye on them so I can run off and visit with people." :th

We go through this every time we go somewhere - and I'm just sick of it. Our kids don't run wild and crazy like other people's kids, they are pretty good kids.

It's the same at church events. He expects me to sit with him and the kids the entire time, and if I get up from the table to go talk to someone, I'll hear about it later, because he doesn't want to be "stuck with the kids while I am enjoying myself." I keep telling him he doesn't have to make the kids stay glued to him when we're at get togethers and stuff.

What ever. I'm just mad now.
