So yes, I'm expecting - and by God I hope it's a GIRL! Due sometime around September 17 - October 8, depending on if you go by last cycle or when we had our oops (and yes I know the exact dates for both).
Congratulations!!!! I say go by the date of the "oops." :) That is what I believed all along, even though the professionals would try to talk me down to the LMP date. :p I started labor the day I expected that I was due (due to the "oops" date). Make sense? LOL
Well, funny story about that. LOL I talked to my Dr's office today, and the nurse who was booking my first appt (which is march 9) said that by my last cycle, the date that I could have possibly uh concieved was the date of our oops....so I guess it doesn't matter WHICH date they use LOL

We're due around September 17. I'm 8 weeks and 5 days.

W/my son, I had no idea when he was due! My whole system had shut down months b4. (And this is why I'd NEVER use BC pills again!) I was going to the doctor's every month. They'd do a pregnancy test, then once it came back negative, put me on yet another medicine to try and jump start my system. Nothing was working. Then I called one day and get told, congrats, your test came back positive. I didn't believe them until I went in, and heard the heart beat. They had to do an ultra sound just to get a due date!

I'm 32. I've been tired alot, too. I spend my days chasing after an almost 3 year old (who was only about 3 months old when i joined this forum!) and doing chores, and I've been hitting the bed between 8 pm and 9 pm and sleeping sound all night. I don't wake up to feed the fire. Oops. I think E would like me to though!! He wants to sleep all night for once.

I've also had dizzy spells, nausea, and can barely stomach any coffee or food in the morning. And cooking - the smell of the food - ugh! I had none of this with my boys, only with my DD - but still not getting my hopes up too high.

We've - or at least I've - decided NOT to find out what we're having. I'd like to be surprised just once. I think E wants to know and a friend of mine wants to know, so I might let the ultrasound tech put it in a sealed envelope for my friend, but I don't want E to know because it would leak out before D Day.

Ican easily sleep all night and then take a couple of naps during the day. I thought my tiredness was due to stress concerning my 6 year old who we can't get her seizures under control plus she is constant care as she about 9 months old physiclly. Now I am thinking I am just old and pregnant, LOL! I basicallly lived on drinking Coke the first 10 weeks of this pregnancy, NOTHING sounded good and everything made my tummy roll. It has been a nightmare but it will be a dream in the end. I also dont' want to find out but dh does and so I am giving in, to be honest it doesn't matter to me one way or the other. We are going to have the ultrasound tech put it on a slip of paper and let our 10 year old tell us in the room during the sono. She is so excited she can't wait until the end of March when we will find out. Hope you feel better soon!

Well, life is still moving along here - but winter sure seems to be taking it's sweet old time to LEAVE.

Last week we were all fighting the flu bug. I couldn't eat ANYTHING for 4 days - unfortunately that's continued and I can no longer keep blaming it on the flu.

I went off coffee cold turkey. Can't stomach the stuff now, and I had a headache for the first 3 days. Now, nothing. Doesn't bother me at all not to drink it! What a way to kick that habit.

I've been wanting fruits, vegetables, and strawberry milk.

Saturday I was soo sick so Becca stopped by and brought me a frosty from Wendy's. That was delicious, but my stomach was still upset and well, I had a lot of appointments in the office with John. Not fun dates, either.

That night I broke down and took a dose of pepto - not sure if it's OK to use during pregnancy, so I only took one dose. The relief was IMMEDIATE! I couldn't believe it.

Now we're just waiting for the white stuff to go away for good. We got hit with a good 8 inches the other day and more of the same supposed to come this weekend.

Yuck.

Gotta have a talk with DD when she gets home. She's gone to school and been telling people that we're getting her a baby sister. Today, I found out that some people that I wasn't ready to tell yet already knew because DD told. Kids. :barnie
