Awww, So sorry about your little guy. Now, if that was me...I would have killed off the hens! LOL Anyone need roosters?? LOL I have a pen FULL of Banty roo's! LOL
Ok, so today we managed to accomplish what I feel is a fair bit considering there was a cranky toddler trailing along the whole day.
- extended raised bed out another 9 feet - check
- moved turkey's hoop house - check
- fixed Bantam Faverolle Pen - Check
- separated chicks out by age for more space - check
- caught the cat that ripped out my dining room screen - check
- screamed at the dog to quit barking all day - check
- hid in the houes while strange man talked outside with E - check
- visited with kids when they got home - check
- got the kids to clean bedrooms, put away their laundry, and pick up their mess in the hall, and clean their bathroom - check, check, check, and check!
This next week, the kids have 3 days of school and then it's out for the summer. But I don't know why they have to go, when all they're going to do these last three days is play, go to the park, and basically goof off.
They could do that at home.
Went down to my neighbors house and helped her work on centerpieces for her brother's upcoming wedding. We're making white roses out of crepe paper for kissing balls.
Then came home and waited and waited and kept waiting for my mom to show up because she said she and my stepdad were coming over yesterday afternoon. They didn't show up until 8pm!
When I commented that 8 pm isn't afternoon, that's evening, she shrugged and blamed it on my step dad.
We were kind of frustrated about waiting around all day for them, when there were things we needed to do (like go to the store).
Oh well, today should be better. Need to work on coops some this morning and then going to attend a baby shower for a lady at our church.
