Hey QA...I have a spare room if you think you might need a break hun
Thanks! I'm actually waiting a couple of days, then T and her mom will be removed and blocked from my facebookWannabefree said:Hey QA...I have a spare room if you think you might need a break hun
LOL glad I'm not the only mean mom! Man I hate doing it sometimes but how else are they going to learn! My kiddos are picking up pieces of styrofoam by hand now as I type... (yes a vacuum would be easier but I'm not letting them tear it up too) they thought it would be fun to take a giant piece of packing material out of the trash tear it into a thousand pieces and make it look like snow in my living room while I was using the bathroom! It's sad when you can't even go pee... ROFLQuail_Antwerp said:I made the boys scrub their own walls they really don't like me right now HAHAHAHA Next on their list - the kids bathroom. They are NOT liking that I'm standing over them like a drill sergeant barking - scrub it harder! scrub!
My oldest son looked at me and said, "Mom, I don't like this."
Me: You don't? Why not? You like making the mess!
Chores aren't there to like. They're there to make a space livable. LOLQuail_Antwerp said:My oldest son looked at me and said, "Mom, I don't like this."

LOL I can just picture you family today. I've seen you get upset - just saying.Quail_Antwerp said:I must have been in a hormonal rampage - my husband has barely said 2 words to me
He quietly went to the store to get the things I said I needed for cleaning the house, and he surprised me by getting a little long sleeved onsie thing that says "Frightfully Cute" with a little bat on it for Baby Girl (I'm not big on Halloween, but I think there was a thinking to stay on my good side involved lol).
By the time he got back, the boys walls were scrubbed, the floor sweepered (until the vac blew up but I'm not going to think about that right now) and we set up another bed in there. Arranged the furniture so that they still have playing space. They don't seem to want their own beds, so we just put a full sized bed in there for the younger 3 and told them that oldest DS gets the twin bed to himself.
I'm hoping to get their carpet wet vac'ed on Wednesday right after they leave for school but before I leave for my Dr. appt.
My kitchen is waiting for me to come mop it - AND ALL OF THE KIDS ARE IN BED NAPPING! YEE - HAW! DD washed dishes and helped with laundry. Love my girl!
The storm windows have been in the kitchen nearly all. summer. long. I said something about wanting to move those - without a word E moved them out of my kitchen while I was sweeping a different room When I came back into the kitchen, he said very quietly, "I moved the storm windows for you, hon." LOL!!! I said thank you - Goodness I don't know what I did, but they are ALL walking on eggshells HAHAHA.
And stuff is getting done! YAY

I wouldn't waste the time washing them. *laughs*Quail_Antwerp said:I threw both the monkey and rabbit outside - don't know whether I should go pick them up and wash them, or send them out with the trash.
LOL! good idea, but he's 3! He's probably make a bigger mess with the washing!!abifae said:I wouldn't waste the time washing them. *laughs*Quail_Antwerp said:I threw both the monkey and rabbit outside - don't know whether I should go pick them up and wash them, or send them out with the trash.
