Well, so far so good They are awesome troopers so far, and no complaints as of yet.

Today is my DD's 10th birthday, and my little niece is 3 today! Well, she's actually my Great Niece, as my nephew is her dad....oh goodness, I'm only 30 and have adult nieces and nephews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what happens, though, when your SIL is 14 years older than you are!

The girls both got a bunny for their birthday! and the traditional b-day spankings (my DD was NOT thrilled!) We are having cake on Saturday to celebrate their special day, that way grandparents can come and celebrate, too.

Oh and I am SICK. I've managed to come down with a sore, scratchy throat (not enough cough drops in this house!) and I feel like I am on fire. I've been sucking down chicken broth like it is going out of style, honey lemon tea, and cough drops. I really want to go to my mom's and sit under a hot spigot in her shower. Let the bathroom steam all up and just marinate.

I had one set of the turkey eggs sell. That made me happy! They shipped out today because of how late in the day it was yesterday when I was finally able to get online.

I'm hoping that we can get everyone into a routine by next week. We'll see, I guess.

Try some eucalyptus oil on a clean cloth and inhaling. Or put some in a pot or bowl of boiling water and inhale the vapors. If you put your head in a towel tent, you'll capture more of the vapors.

Crush up a head of garlic - not a clove, the whole head - and add that to your soup.

I'm feeling a tad better, but not 100% yet. Lots going on....haven't been online, but I'll try to get on in a day or so and give everyone a "run down" so to speak.

Lots of adjusting to do.

howdy all.

feeling some better. Can't type worth a crap on this little lap top of Nephew's LOL Not used to the tiny keyboard yet. My computer was moved to my bedroom, but if I want to be in the living room with the family, then dear Nephew lets me use his laptop on the couch. Right now we are watching The Day the Earth Stood Still. Supposed to be a good Alien type movie with Keanu (sp?) Reeves in it. He's the alien.

Girls had a good birthday party today. They both were thrilled with their cakes and my parents came over with presents for both kids. They were given new clothes and a toy each, so they were thrilled.

Not much new going on. Still recovering from the yuck, but not feeling as badly now. Dear Nephew has caught it, now, too LOL

Nephew and I put our applications in for a job, hoping we get the same shift so that we can carpool together. Should find out if we can start next week or not. SIL will be here at the home to help DH and with the kiddos.
