I forgot Fried Green Tomatoes!! You cant forget that!! Ithink you dip it in Egg then in flour or cornmeal.
I do flour and seasoning only on those. I cook them individually and flip them, so that each bite is crispy and :drool oh...forgot what I was saying  Yeah..so that both sides are crispy and they don't get super greasy. I vrey much dislike this thread now...I'm gonna be hungry ALL DAY! Fried chicken for supper tonight though! I may fry some okra and squash to go with it, and make biscuit & gravy. OH! GRAVY!!! You have to make gravy for everything now!!!!! You've really missed good gravy haven't ya free? :p Gravy for every meat...isn't that like a commandment?

Chicken Wings!!!

NEVER batter them, just fry until nice and crispy, drain, and toss in a mixture of hot sauce and melted butter.

Wow! Keep it coming, but with recipes, huh???

And, yes, good gravy.....I know how to make wonderful gravy! I also lived downstairs from a gal from Texas for a couple of years and we became good friends. She taught me how to make a really good sausage gravy. I make it now and then in winter when I want some really good comfort food, with yummy biscuits. YUMMMM!!!!

Yes, BBH, you render suet. Most grocery stores sell hunks of suet because people still put it out for the birds. Around here, it is around a buck a pound.

Nice and dry today. Our main road is still washed out though. Have to take the long way to get to my favorite hardware store.

I love corn fritters, fried gizzards (and hearts), fried shrimp, fried oysters (po boy style), and of course my favorite FRIED CHICKEN!!

Thanks free. I'm going to have to search for some, they carry it at my favorite hardware store. The only kind I've seen and bought has nuts and seeds already mixed in. Did you get yours anywhere special?

p.s. I mailed the dvd today.
