I love this town. So I went to my boyfriend's softball game today and they let their "coach" (he is a kid with special needs) hit the last ball. It was fun to watch him run all the bases. It is probably going to be the highlight of his life he loved it.

And My boyfriend also got a new "toy" today. One of the guys was selling his compressor. We got the compressor hose and a air wrench for 200. 0806192015.jpg

The joys of school starting soon. Because my little man didn't go to school till noon all last year his bed time has been at 9:30. Well he starts kindergarten this month so his bed time got bumped down to 8:30 and has been like that for a few days now. Well he wants to stay up till 9:30 still so its a fight to get him to bed and then when I finally do he will sneek down stairs and try to watch a movie with me.
I will be dealing with this next year! DS4 is in afternoon session this year. It's hard to get him in his bedroom before 10 p.m. I wake him up at 9 a.m. and he doesn't take an afternoon nap. I am hoping that school will wear him out and he'll start going to bed earlier.

Our closest harbor freight is 2 hours away and I'm not going to tell my boyfriend its there. If he goes in to one he will probably end up spending about $1000.

And, you don't think he knows where that is? ... along with every single Lowe's, Home Depot, and other major box hardware/tool store within driving distance!!! It's a Y chromosome thing. Did you know that there is a male based conspiracy that has been functioning very well for as long as these places have existed? There are emitters built into the sprinkler systems that disperse testosterone on a regular basis. Undetectable to the average female. But, this process works like a pheromone. Drawing men to these stores, like moths to a light. That's why a guy will suddenly blurt out in the middle of a quiet Saturday.... "I've got to go to Lowe's!"

We shop Harbor Freight for a few things, but like said above, the quality is less than optimal so it only for things that we won't use much or a one and done project. If it lasts longer than expected - awesome, but it usually barely gets through the intended job. If you do your research, they do have some good items, but you have to know what you are buying - like anywhere else.
That said, my DH is a tool snob. Only the best will do. Luckily we are DINKs. (double income, no kids). That gives us more spending money.

Of course, every project deserves a new tool! ;)
