Well this week hasn't been the best so far. One of the guys from Ron's tribe that moved up here a while ago died. One of our acquaintances (I use that term very loosely because we didn't like him but he was our nieces stepdad.) Was killed Sunday morning and I know both people involved in that. And now today I just got a call from my dad telling me that my grandmother passed away this morning. They say these things happen in 3's so hopefully its over for a while.

Had a fun weekend.

So on Saturday we got a lot of camping stuff. And since they where stored in a shed in the back of a pasture it all needed a good cleaning. Then to add to the fun of cleaning we decided to go camping this weekend. So in between getting the garden ready, spending time with my family while they are in town, and playing with Silas and Aubrey I have been cleaning. I still have a few dishes and lanterns to wash but I'm getting there.
I still need to finish cleaning the cast iron kettle and season it but it looks a whole lot better. And the flat top grill needs a couple more coats before it's done.

In other news we are getting a puppy in 8 weeks. I can't wait to have a dog again. My sister in law's brothers girlfriend's dog had puppies on Sunday and she is going to give us one.

The best kind a mutt. The mom is a Pitt, Border Collie mix and we don't know what the dad was.
