You guys are too funny. It is about 10 feet tall, but not very big around. I almost had to laugh when I saw it. But you know you can't do that to husbands, they get mad. But it is so small, the goats would eat all the grass in there in one day. And it is heavy, who is going to move that daily? It is too heavy for me.
It may just end up as a chicken or duck pen, but THEY are too small for the size of the slats too. I'd have to get some more kind of wire. But maybe it can be a chicken or rabbit tractor.
At least we didn't spend money on it. I think when you use recycled parts, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
Migraine today. Fun, fun, fun! I made a soup this morning luckily so at least I still have dinner ready for Hubby.
My yellow bathroom came out great, I still have some more repairs to do but there is nothing like a fresh coat of paint to make a room look better. And I'm glad to be off the step ladder. I hate ladders.
We seem to have a kitten. She was found in my Hubby's work warehouse, where kittens would be smooshed. The local rescues are all full. Looks like I have a new cat. She is about six weeks old I think, black, short haired (my favorite) and skinny. She had fleas, luckily I had one dose of flea stuff. I think I can get a free spay done by the Feral Cat Coalition. I will have to get shots for her at the feed store and the only cat wormer I have is for older kittens, so I'll have to wait on that. There is no way I'm taking some new cat to the vet.
I guess we are thinking of names. I'm pretty sure its female and two other people guessed female before me (before I knew what they said, we all guessed blind) so I'm pretty sure female, one of the other guessers is a real cat expert. I asked Hubby why she didn't take this one home. I guess we still have fewer cats than her.
Sigh. I needed another pet like I need a hole in my head, but I cannot put a six week old kitten out onto the street, just can't do it. I did get some free cat food from my friend Kitty (had been returned to the clinic) so at least God provided for her before I even knew she was here, it is perfect kitten food. I guess He knew what was coming even if I didn't, there is enough here from Kitty to take this kitten through her adulthood, and only one of my cats was even liking it.
Name suggestions for black female cats welcome. So far, she is Miss Hissy.
Salem is a cute name. Hubby suggested Diablo, and I told him nothing is being named for the devil that lives in my house. But Salem is kinda cute, we tend to name our cats S names (Stubby, Smidgen and Smudge are our other three).
I wish I could send her to you, BB, I really don't need a cat. My older son, who is somewhat prepping to move out, has told me he doesn't really want to take Smidgen with him, who is his cat. Smidgen doesn't even like anyone else. But no hopes for finding her a home either, our daughter (who volunteers in cat rescue) says all of them are full right now. I know they were giving free kittens away last week at one of the shelters...........that is a really bad sign because kittens cost shelters at least 35 dollars to process, and their goal was 100 cats finding homes, so I guess they were trying to avoid having to put them all down.
I'm glad I don't volunteer in cat rescue anymore, this is a bad time for cats.............
