That whole litter had car names, Jeep, Chassie, Tank, Hemi, Diesel, Outback, etc. I tried to give them names with a theme to help keep the litters straight. Freddy's litter was the last litter of puppies we did, after that we switched to adult dogs as our current home is more suited to adults.
We have found that to get dogs adopted, the name is extremely important. I used to switch the girls names to "Hemi" when I wanted a pup to be adopted and it would always work like a charm.

Looks like we are going to have a warm sunny weekend for the holiday, that should be nice. We don't have anything planned of course but at least this month is the LAST in which I will be so broke like this, my SSI starts this month, although not until the very end of the month.

Just in time for the government to run out of money. Nice. I sure hope they actually pay SSI people. Sheesh.

Well Halleluiah! I go out this AM to care for the bunnies as usual and was thinking I was needing to take the kindling box out of Sister's cage and re-breed her today, as she was supposed to kindle on the 30th and never so much as pulled hair this time (this is my bunny who produced the other babies). But lo and behold, what do my wondering eyes appear to see? Four beautiful strong baby Creme kits this morning, in a lovely bed she made for them yesterday/overnight.

Yay Sister!

So now I need four names of 4th of July Bunnies. I was thinking about Liberty and Freedom as two of the names, but I don't want escaping bunnies so it sounded a little too prophetic

Suggestions? I can't sex them yet. With only four I probably won't get to eat any again, I'll be able to sell four really easy I am afraid, and at 30 apiece I can't afford to eat them yet. I'm starting to think of keeping more females however as I really need to have more of a supply of babies if I ever am going to get a chance to eat rabbit.

By the way, my rabbit tractor is working awesome! I just wish I had one of these for each bunny. It is just a fair-weather solution, but it is actually trimming the grass and fertilizing it nicely as well as cutting down on the feed for Daughter.

Have a happy and safe 4th everyone! God Bless America!
