In the end, it is how much time you put into them and what you decide you want to make them do.

My husband has a spoiled dog, our little RR mix. She is aptly named Bindi Jo butt-head because she is silly and neurotic and he doesn't make her mind. It is seriously embarassing to take her anywhere. But he lets her be that way so she is.

Feeling awful today, too sick to work. The page is jumping around on me, but I'm trying to take my mind off of it getting some good laughs reading journals from all of you and such. I'm reading OFG's whole journal this week. It reads like a book, only all of you, my friends, are doing commentary. My mother likes MY farm stories and encourages me to write a funny book, but I see that OFG has already written one much funnier than I could ever attempt. I think I need some Depends to finish it and some wipes for my computer screen. And she has a fan base before ever getting it published. I dunno, the Adventures at Dizzy Dog Ranch sounds just like a Nancy Drew novel. Maybe my book should be a mystery. Certainly it is a mystery that I'm still plugging along sometimes.

Does anyone know how to bookmark and hop to a page in a thread here? I'm doing this elaborate bookmark thangy.

We had a freeze overnight, obviously I've been doing too much gloating online about us having mostly just rain. The duck pond is a skating rink and they are looking at me dejectedly through the window like, what gives? I know it was frozen over when we had snow, but all of my animals stayed in their coops and sheds when we had that snow, so they didn't notice the frozen pond. It is clear and cold however, and we have something we don't see much in the winter, blue skies. If I can get my eyes to stop jumping around, maybe I can even enjoy it! I always seem to feel guilty enjoying anything when I've called in sick though. I'm looking forward to making changes in that section of my life.

Hope you get to feeling better.

Just so you know, I always enjoy reading your dog stories! You have your own special way of telling them.

SD, when everything is jumping around for you, does focusing on a still object help you at all? Hope you feel better. :hugs

I have heard that suggestion before, but no, it doesn't help. I have to close my eyes and lay down and kind of meditate. Sometimes lately I have what I'm starting to call Vertigo Lite which is when my eyes are jumping but I still function otherwise. I think it is the migraine related vertigo symptoms, which is what I was experiencing this morning. I just had the Meniere's ringing on top of it, so a couple things were going on at once. My doctor calls the increased ringing with improved hearing LeMoyer syndrome or something like that, it is a part of MD in the advanced stages I gather.

We have a very large version of that photo on our wall. I was thinking of using it for advertising Dizzy Dog Ranch too. It was not actually taken here, but she died before we bought this place.
