Killed our first home-grown roo today....he was getting troublesome so his days came to an end just now.
But this marks our first home-hatched bird to become our dinner! Yay us!

I'm off to pluck....feeling very SS........

Hubby is cutting the guts out while I'm in the next room....we got him all plucked.

See if he tries to attack my EE girls again.....he was a much meaner roo than my Charlie Harper, makes me appreciate Charlie. If he had been around another week my hens would be neked.

As it is, he is the neked one hanging in the kitchen.
