They are so cute! From what I can tell they are much smaller in body type than mine. Might be singles for them first time around, but it's so hard to tell...I have heard of some that don't really show at all and then have 2 or more. Is that a little udder building on Ginger? They look really good.
Geepers, now I'm scared of how many Perdy is hiding in her ginormous belly :th She was bred to a buck about half her size too :p

Ode to Ginger
(to the tune of Rudolph the red nosed reindeer)

Ginger the mini nubian
Had two extra tiny teats
But if you ever saw her
You would still say she is neat

All of the big goat breeders
Used to laugh and call her names
They never thought poor Ginger
Would be joining in the mommy game

Then one rainy fall day
Sebastian came to stay
He said, "Ginger I'm in love with you
Can't we make a baby too?"

So savingdogs is hoping for doelings
As her SS friends shouted out with glee
Ginger the mini nubian
You'll go down in history

Okay, I'm silly.........

Well I was criticized over at BYH for breeding her....I'm not sure everyone at SS is "shouting with glee" that I bred her, but I really just want a little milk! I'm a homesteader, not a goat breeder and Ginger is a very sweet calm small goat.

We are actually hoping now to keep any doelings and not sell them at all, especially if we find Ginger milkable. I really think she will be, especially now that the udder is getting bigger. The extra teats have not enlarged like the big ones.

Molly also has a little udder building. She has always been our favorite, we love her color but I read that is the least desireable color for a nigy and her kids will be kinda 3/4 nigy, so we will see what we get. I tried to upload a picture of the buck but my computer is getting fussy. He is chocolate and white. I'll still work on that picture. Grrrrr. It was saved as a different type of file.

Also, it says I'm 78 percent full in the photo department....How do I fix that?

Delete them from where I posted them in the threads?

I wondered why sometimes the pictures are gone on old threads. That must be why, hmmm?

A tip - you can save photos on any of the other 'sister' sites and use them here ;) I have most of my goat photos saved at BYH.

I'm making enchiladas with that sauce again. They were so good that they get an encore!

Thanks! I'm a little slow on these darn computers.

I do think my goats are a different body type from yours Java. They have always been kind of lean body shaped, I think that is their nubian dad's shape. He was pretty hairy when we met him but he is narrower like them. Their mom is a squatty little doe! They have dad's head but moms airplane ears. I know those are not desireable for mini nubians but they are still cute even if their type is not correct.

At least my does have ears. :tongue

I actually think Lamanchas are adorable I'm just teasin.
