We get two fosters tomorrow, sisters. One will be hopefully recovering from surgery to remove what is called a dermoid sinus, a ridgeback issue. Their owner was having to move, and had bought them to breed, and dermoid sinus is hereditary so they were only pet quality. One of the two has separation anxiety, our job will be to see if they can be parted or if they must live together. They would be easier to place apart. Hubby is off tomorrow and we will go get them together. I'll have to share some photos when we get them.

I had a horrible vertigo attack yesterday so I really hope that is over for the week. I was out of it all day. It was a beautiful warm sunny day, too. I was kicking myself that I could not be outside, and then remembered that just a month or so ago, I would have been pushing myself to drive to work, walk dogs and scrub floors and rush around feeling like that, vomiting in the sink, etc. I could just go back to my wee little bed and curl up under the covers instead and life was good. My dogs all pile around me and keep me warm and feeling protected. This is so much better. I slept five hours without even waking. My sons took over chores. After I woke up, I read my Jean Auel book a little.

I think that happened so bad because of barometric weather change in combination with eating eggs (I only had a tiny amount, but I think I've grown more sensitive). I just cannot eat my lovely chicken eggs. I only had about 1/2 of an egg this time so that was really discouraging.
I'm sure Denim Deb knows however that MD patients always stress and worry and wonder what "caused it" this time because it has so many triggers, some unknown.

But I'm looking forward to the fosters! It has been a huge gap for us to not have a foster since last fall.....the longest break we have ever taken since we started about 13 years ago. I must say those were some of the worst months of my life and I'm sure glad they are over. I did not realize they were so bad until they ended and I realize why I was so depressed....my life sucked! I think I still have to work at being a happier person again but at least the stress of my life isn't dragging me down so much now since I'm not working. My biggest issue now is what to make for dinner and taking care of my family.

And my dairy goats are due so soon now, I'm totally excited! It looks like Javamama and Glenolam both have kids due right around the same time so this should be fun comparing stories and pictures. I hope everything goes well.

:frow Hope you get to feeling better today. I'm coming off an autoimmune flare which made me unable to sleep and stiff and achy all over, especially in my lower back. I upped my magnesium and that has helped tremendously.
The new foster dogs sound nice!
If you get a chance, I'd love to see your goat girls :) No pressure though!

Okay, Java, here is Ginger from behind.

The head you see is my wether Donald, peeking around her. The black one over to the right is Molly. I could only get them to hold still by having them eat!
