 We make fun of our goat's earless little heads all the time. Last night they were wandering around in their yard after dark and I swear Rory looked like an alien. Spoooooky!

BB, I love your assortment of animal photos. What kind are those grey chickens? And what kind of ducks?

Is that the rabbit that was pulling hair?

Thanks! Yeah she is the momma of those two. The gray roo I labeled a BR is a Barred Rock. The gray hens are Dominiques aka Dominickers. The ducks are Muscovies.

That's okay. Martha is very happy in her spinsterhood. We rescued her from the dog pound last year. Now she lives like a queen. She comes out for a visit most evenings. She gets bathed by the Golden Retriever. If he's outside when we open her cage she waits until he's back in before she comes out. She loves him!!

My dog has fits when he sees rabbits its like the end of the world he chews at his kennel and everything, and just cuts a shine.

Dixie has never had the opportunity to meet a domestic rabbit, but just look at her enthusiasm for the wild variety

I am sure the chase would have been on if she were off lead inside the yard. They just learn they can't catch the bunny when there is a long necktie wrapped around your neck.

Back when we were living in the Chicago burbs, we were walking Scarlett and Rhett along the Riverwalk in Naperville and there was someone sitting on the lawn with their domestic rabbit. That was the only time Rhett wanted to really, really snack on a rabbit while on a leash.

You can't blame a dog for having instincts.....my ridgebacks feel the same way about rabbits that greyhounds do. They were excellent with the goats and chickens so I expected more of them.

Henrietta, George the silvery roo is gorgeous!
