It's a Hamilton Beach 14 cup with a 525 watt motor. It came with the french fry blade. I can see having a little thrift shop processor for everyday but this one should make butter and do all the big jobs!!!!!

$45 with free shipping from Walmart.

Very light day today. Make french fries with the new processor and order dry dog food from the feed store. Guess I oughta clean a bit too.

Busy day today! Cleaned house for Annabelle who lives near the ranch. Then helped DH give hay to a couple of herds of cows (I'm the gate girl)! Stopped and saw girl dog on the way home. She looks so much better and has a happy and outgoing demeaner now. We are going to bring her home Sunday because ---drumroll!!!!!!!--In a week there should be a contract on the first house we looked at!!!!!! The real fixer upper!!!!! Hopefully in 2 or 3 weeks we can take the trailer out there and start working on getting it livable. Guess I shouldn't hold my breath and I know things change but it's the biggest glimmer of hope I have had in 7 months! We know bringing the new dog home to the trailer won't be easy but we don't think she would stay put out of sight of the road for another 2 or 3 weeks. Sunday morning is our target to get her if she is still there and alive.
Continuing on with my day today, we went to the laundrymat and did laundrey, came home and I used my new processor (which I adore) to make french fries and shred potatoes for breakfasts. It works great! Then cooked french fries and chili dogs--no bread-- for dinner. Then I cooked sausage, eggs and the shredded potatoes for the weeks breakfast tortillas. Took the pups out for their last walk, gave meds to Buddy and finally got on the computer.

Bet I'll sleep better tonight!

I have enjoyed reading your journal! What caught my eye is that you are in MS. I loved living in MS.....lived here 15 yrs total. I wanted to move back, but as Katrina blew everything away...I chose to move to SC, back in 2008.

FC--Wait til we bring her home into the pack of two attention seeking, jealous of each other schnauzers!

Moxies--We love this area! Especially having all four seasons!!!! FL wasn't so big on that.

I got up at 5 as usual. Asked DH to fix his own breakfast tortillas and slept til 8:45. Haven't slept that late in a year at least. Poor pups went out much later than usual but didn't even try to get me up! I started my soaking beans in the crockpot cooking and got on the computer. Have barely moved since. I'm still tired! Will probably go back to sleep soon.

Later I am looking for a dog crate for new girl so our schnauzer brats don't double team and intimidate her right off the bat as we work on socializing them together. Pick up more meds for Buddy. This is his last month on them, then we check his titer to see if the Valley Fever is gone. Darn Arizona winds!!!!!!!

Well, we got the new pup home now. Her name is Molly. She has some pit in her but something else too. She has not been aggresive at all towards my two crazy dogs. Lucee is used to being the boss and doesn't like the new girl or being corrected! The pups will sleep with me tonight and DH will sleep on the couch so Molly doesn't feel lonely her first night. I can tell she has no idea why we brought her home or what her job is yet. She is resting on the couch right now and staring at me. We have had four pack walks today and will have many tomorrow also. Today, we kept all leashes on and fairly seperated but with some nose to noses. I don't think she has been on a leash before so I am getting an anti pull harness tomorrow at Walmart. I've pulled a few ticks off but not too many. At the new house, she will sleep in the mudroom ( or Mollys room, it should be called). Well that is the plan, guess we will see how tomorrow goes!
