I only got about an hour and a half of sleep last night. DH doesn't like to use the A/C and it was hot so the windows are open and schnauzers are always on guard! Lucee just drove me crazy! I did get another 2 hours sleep after dh left this morning and I turned the air on. When the a/c is on I can shut the shades--pull down vinyl type. Then the pups can't see out and report all movement in the park! And the air is on tonight! Guess dh wants me in a better mood than earlier.:p

DH and I take niacin, him for tremors and me for heart health. I just made a new order and forgot the non flush part. Holy cow was he red! I was sleeping and did not take them this morning. Got that fixed today with a new order!

I made deodorant from coconut oil and cornstarch today. Paid bills and went to the store. That's about it. I was very low functioning today but did not take a nap, so maybe I will be full strength tomorrow!

Oh, and now there is another option for a house. Someone within 5 miles of the ranch selling a house because dad is going in a nursing home. So that is three options and nothing for sure still. We've been waiting almost 10 months now. Come on God!!! I know it will work out for the best!!!!

Thank you for the prayers. I know I can't rush God but...

I'm so tired of insomnia! It's been 3 nights of barely any sleep. Last night was a little better --got about 4 and a half hours. Found out that reading about insomnia can almost put me to sleep!

Anyway, I have a Beef, bean barbeque type dish in the crockpot for dinner and just made German potato salad (to go with smoked ham slices at lunch).

Laundrey was done yesterday. Also made the two pounds of pico de gallo and saute`d bell peppers, onion, jalapenos and tomato for DHs special burrito topping. I cut out a nightgown using my current one as a pattern. Also cut out material for 2 chicken doorstops. The material for both projects cost $1.50 at the thrift shop!

I checked my homemade ACV this morning and it is working fine. I wasn't sure as I started 2 recipes in plastic bottles. I thought maybe it had to be glass but apparently not! Now I will have 2 - 32 oz. bottles and 1 - 16 oz. bottle! The "mother" came from the last time I made it.

I still have to pay rent, hit the groc. store and clean the stovetop. That's about it for today, I think.

Ever hopeful...

Praise report! Thank you God! Things are starting to unfold! Tomorrow, they will be laying out the fencing for our lot which will be on brother in laws land in another pasture up the road. Lot to be about 150 X 180 or so. Big enough for a good start!!!! Also BIL is more open to the manufactured home now if it is a newer one. They are built sturdier. I know it is only the first step but I am so glad! I ordered my foodsaver last night as it was close to half the original price! I have had the money put aside for this for a year now. I'm amazed I did not spend it! We also ordered a replacement awning for our travel trailer. That will help cool us down a bit while we are still in here. So, yay, a positive direction for us!!!!!!!! Thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts!!!!!!

Nothing exciting today in thenews dept. but I got a lot done at home. Defrosted the fridge which was way overdue, not because I didn't want to do it, but because the thermostat is out and when it defrosts, it starts freezing everything. So between my hair dryer and an ice pick, we got her done.

Today was cooking day. Made the weeks burrito filling, hamburger steaks with onion and mushroom gravy, real mashed potatoes and skillet rolls which turned out wonderful! I cooked them in my small cast iron skillet. My recent thoughts are--this will be so much faster and easier when I can cook more than two items at once with room to clean up.!

It's doggie dinner time so I better get to it!

Oh yeah! I ordered an extra large fly swatter for Mississippi spiders and bugs!:ep

I set up my 2012 filing box system today. Just a little late but we have so little going on that it is fine. Brushed the dogs and cut a couple of tangles out of their hair. Went and did laundrey. Got a call tonight that some friends from Monroe are coming to visit us tomorrow! Yay! For company! We will be having Chili and cornbread for dinner and probably take a ride on Saturday.

Latest news is good news! Monday dh and bil will be ordering fence posts for fencing. Bil ordered an 18' x 36' outbuilding for us today and will be getting the concrete slab poured soon! I'm not posting one photo until I start to see the fence take shape. We still don't know what we will live in but we know it will be wonderful compared to this tiny trailer we are in now! The outbuilding is supposed to be here in 3 weeks. Hopefully around that time he will have the well dug (for the cows in that pasture as well as us), sewer in and elec. ready. That might be pushing it but we will see. To do laundrey at home will be a wonderful thing! That is just one of the things that we took for granted in FL but haven't had for the past 9 years!
