Just to throw it out there, when I broke my arm 12 years ago the cast was put on while I was under anesthesia. I wasn't asked if I wanted one of those pretty cast wraps. :( I had the world's uglies plaster cast. I found a brochure in the orthopaedist's waiting room for stretching cast covers but they were ridiculously expensive. So my mom bought some swim suit fabric remnants and sewed a bunch up for me. I had cast covers for different outfits. I even had a fancy white on white patterned one for my birthday dinner! If you need stretchy and tough fabric that might work. Don't know how well it would breathe though.

Well, if we can wear a swimsuit to the beach all day, it should be fine for an udder for a few hours! It would just be so that I could put everyone in the pasture for longer stretches, until Plum and Mya lose interest in each other. I think it would still be safer to leave them separated when I am not here, though. All this work for a CAE-free doeling would be so wasted if she nursed even once! And now that I am in love with her, she will likely be here forever....

If you have some old gloves, maybe you could cut the fingers off and sew them onto you "utterbag", so the teats won't get squished

I missed your post, Denise....but if you saw Mya's teats, you'd suggest a pair of mittens instead! :p

LOL. Hopefully Daisy will be too when it's time. All the buck will have to do is dab a little raisin scented cologne in his beard and she'll be all his!

Hi Merle!!! Stop in an visit more often. I miss you, buddy! You are overloaded with kids, aren't you!

Worry not, H23, your sweet little innocent Daisy will tramp it up the second she lays eyes on anything with....the correct plumbing!
