Thanks for admiring my darlings, everyone! Made my day!

Javamama, I don't know what Dorian's color pattern is called, I call it stunning. It really appeals to me. He is an Alpine, from a dairy herd. You should hear him yell! It can be heard all over the neighborhood. I hope the neighbors don't think I am torturing him. He is such a joyful boy. He is starting to rut, but doesn't smell bad yet. The x-rated behaviors have begun, though. I saw him pee on his face yesterday, and he is starting to grow a beard. He airs his equipment out a lot, too!

Quite educational for the daycare next door..... :p

They are so cute. I love Maya's expressions. I love the markings on Dorian. Wish I could borrow him to take care of my girls ;)

Oh yes, threadS  Can't wait! Mine should get bred early September, so I'll get to do one too :weee Unfortunately mine will come in the middle of winter and that won't be much fun. That's just how it's working out for us.

Threads with lots of pictures! I certainly hope that my spring kidding thread has NO DRAMA. I want to report that I still regularly feel Peach's tummy for that hernia, and it is nice and smooth. And if anyone so much as hiccups during labor, I'm goin' in!

I went back and looked at all the pictures last night. Noobie, after your comment about Peach, I compared all the kids. Funny, I thought Ginger was somewhat unattractive as a baby (although I LOVED her then and still do!) and now, looking at the picture, I wonder why I thought that? She is adorable in her baby pictures! Huh!

And to think I found La Manchas to be uuuu-glee! They are so cute! I love my babies little earlets.

I like the tiny ears too. Before I really started looking for goats, I thought "no way, gotta have me some ears" Then at the fair I looked at the nubians, love the ears but to be honest, their EYES FREAKED ME OUT! :ep I don't know what it is about them. The alpine ears are nice, but that's a mighty big package they come on, and nigis are cute, but not what I was looking for in terms of milking. Once I saw the mini-manchas, they were much cuter than I expected, although it will take some time to feel like something isn't missing :p

Their personalities more than make up for the lack of ears. And just think...no frostbite danger!
