Bee, I think I have one laying around here somewhere (unless I have already given it away and don't remember doing it). I will look and see if I can find it, if so, you are welcome to have it.

Okay, nevermind. I found the one I was thinking of, and it is not chronological. It is this one which a friend gave me many moons ago. I'm sorry. I use NKJV, and have never cracked this one open. I have so many Bibles laying around, and I know at one time I had a chrono, but I give Bibles away a lot to people who don't have one.

Bee, I looked at Christian Book Distributors, and they have a lot of chronologial order Bibles in various prices. I checked the description of some of them and they did say that the books were rearranged.

Wanna, the ones I see on Amazon kind of describe the chrono as being a one year study guide to the Bible....is this the same as yours? 365 days with a daily devotional that covers the Bible in a year.

When you describe yours, it sounds as if the scriptures are arranged in the order in which the events actually happened. Am I correct?

So, if this is so, how does one make sure they are not just ordering a big study guide and not an actual Bible with all the essential scriptures? Or does yours have both? Is yours a "one year" Bible or is it an actual Bible with just lots of references about languages, translations, geography?

BTW, the ones on Amazon are a good price....none are near the $50 range. Maybe because they are the wrong ones?
Mine isn't a 1 year study guide. It's just a rearranged bible :hu
It has the study guides on the pages pertaining to the topic of study. I dunno what you're looking at... Mine is a Thomas Nelson NKJV Chronological Study Bible Copyright 2008, it has the ENTIRE bible in it with study guides to go along. Could be we're looking at the same thing. I bought this one when they first came out. I suppose the price could have gone down a fair bit. Let me go see if I can pull up a pic and add that to this for ya ;)

They have gone down a bit. This is the one I have http://cgi.ebay.com/Chronological-S...676?pt=US_Nonfiction_Book&hash=item230c60b8a4

quick hijack on "thru-the-Bible-in-a-year" - you don't need a special Bible or guide to do this! Just read 4 chapters a day! (Except Sundays, or Saturdays if you attend worship services that day :) ) Okay, so if you want to read some from New and Old Testament each day, or approximately the same amount, you'll need a guide, but this is an easy one to remember. We are all about being more sufficient, right?

end hijack ;)

You don't even need to read 4 chapters a day. After all, some chapters are really long, while others are short. I've made my own schedule for reading thru the Bible in a year. Each day's reading is about the same length. I haven't read yet since I spent most of the day sleeping, but today I'm reading Genesis 1:1-4:5. Tomorrow, I'll be reading Genesis 4:6-7:24. As you can see, I may not read all of a chapter in a day, but I try and stop where there's a natural break if at all possible. If anyone else is interested in my schedule, LMK, and I'll post either weekly or daily what I'm reading.

Wanna, they had some like yours by the same author/publisher! I'll be getting one pretty soon. Barred, I found Wanna's Bible, new, on Amazon for around $13. Love Amazon!

Thanks! And thank you for the sweet offer, sheaviance1! :)
