Yes. Satan always tries to confuse and set Christians against one another about the Bible. We don't have to play into that game at all. One can approach any subject in the Bible from a learning standpoint....it doesn't have to get difficult or strained, as we are learning about God's word and not our own.

I think right now everyone, Christians and nonbelievers alike, are nervous and looking for reassurances. End time prophecies are important to study anytime, let alone when the times are "like they were in the days of Noah".

I've felt compelled to increase my studies in that area for the past few years and the feeling is getting stronger. It seems~ at least in my neck of the woods~ people feel that, if they speak of it, it will mean they think it is happening right now....everyone seems so careful not to be labelled a "dooms-dayer" and paranoid about current world events. I bet they said the same things about Noah....until the rain drops started to fall.

Being prepared in this life is more than stockpiling foods and learning to live frugally....it is also being prepared by storing knowledge about things to come.

Very good Bee!!!

IF we did an end times study, can we all agree to be civil, kind and open minded to other opinions??

Bee I have felt that same need for the last couple of years. I first read Revelations when I was 12 and I read KJV and I didnt get a thing out of it. Then we did it in sunday school and I got a lot out of it.

I think we could all get a lot out of Revelation. Looks like everybody wants to study that and it's definately good that we are doing 2 chapters a week now because one a day in Revelation would NEVER fly  We start Ecclesiates 4 today though right?

James...you ready for some snow buddy? It's coming!!! Looks like some from the South AND from the West!!! :th

Yes, Ecclesiastes 4 today!! We already have 4 inches of snow from the last system. SO YEAH SURE give me more snow!!

I think a Revelations would be good since everyone wants to learn it. So I guess after we finish Ecclesiastes, lets go to the back of the Bible!

our church was cancelled today due to weather..:( ..but i just read ecc. 4 and this verse kinda stood out..better is a poor, wise, child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished. for out of prison he cometh to reign, whereas he also that is born in his kingdom becometh poor."
