DH laughed at me. I was thinking maybe melted welding glove. But the fact that my dog brought it home freaks me out. If I did have something like that I think I would take it to the fire dept. in the morning.

Hypothetically speaking!!!

Time change Bee, time change. Its about 5 am here and I am just getting dh out the door. I have to still rouse my kids, feed, dress and get them to school. I have errands on the schedule this morning and groceries.

Then I have to drive to a neighboring city about 20 min away to pick up a prescription. Then back for the 5yo from school.

To be honest I am kinda nervous about going over to the fire station. I think I might brand myself with the neighborhood "crazy lady" award.

But I did take a picture of It. :hide

On a lighter note, while in the yard yesterday I did notice I have some beets and carrots growing. I had given up on the fall planting nothing seemed to be growing. Maybe just slower? I need to get out there and do some weeding. I was going to mow the lawn, mostly clover now :D, yesterday. Hence picking up all the toys and ummm things in the grass.

I found Cornish X at Ideal Hatchery and now that our Freightliner is on th fritz, I was going to order some chicks. But I chickened out. I just couldn't commit. I am so freaked out by chicks. I just don't know if I can keep them alive.

I need to get back to my tied knot blankets. I have 4 more to do. I would also like to do some beanies as gifts for the little cousins in Mo. :barnie

Well enough about my day. It's still prety early so I am going to go read some other threads.

Hey G....I would assume that it is just something from your neighbors fire....but clearly you have some other (more icky) ideas. GO with your gut and take it in....no one is going to think you are crazy!

Update us on that hypothetical story when you can :)

Pics are cool too. :D

well.. in these hypothetical situations there is only one thing to do. get a shovel. and bury it on the neighbors property.

ha!

just kiddin - you'll figure it out. you can take it to the FD and say "golly this looks like something you guys need - is it part of your equipment?"

then run away
;-)

 Kinda like "ding dong ditch" I can put it on their porch ring the bell and take off running. The only problm I see there is it really won't be to hard to spot my 40 year old overweigt a$$ trying to run up a 600 foot driveway. I think they would probably have to rescue m 3/4 of the way up. :gig

I think I mught just take the bucket and leave it on the neighbors porch. But then he would know I know. :barnie what might that lead to?
