oh Gina
are ya falling apart gal?

you are me

I didn't sleep last night. Hot flashes. They have been gone for like 6 mos. now and BAM I tossed and turned and hot and cold, blanket on and off, OMG then while tossing I kept killing my bad knee. OH YEA, I am not my usual sweet, caring, chipper, wonderful self this morning.

AND THE shoulder, yes the world should stop for your shoulder. Seriously, heal yourself now. A little down time NOW prevents alot of problems later, but we never listen to our bodies. We push and push. Screw it girl, relax a bit. I never saw a pile of laundry kill someone if not washed lol

flax oil is very good for the body. take that also.

maybe roll around with hubby in olive oil, oil up that body girl to make it run smooth

Bite your tongue Karen. I am not getting old. I should just know not to carry 35lbs of water dangling from one limb. :he

I am actually turning the big 40 in a couple months. But my mom had her last kid at 43 so I don't expect hot flashes anytime soon. Thank goodness.

I have been doing my chores in spurts. I just got showered and dressed. Uh washing hair, putting on and taking off clothes, brushing my teeth. They all require lifting my arm. This is gonna be a long haul.

I had to chase my dumb dog down or up the driveway. :rant My sil dropped her son at the top of my hill before school. I guess he likes walking to school with my kids. No biggy, except the dog thought it was the greatest. Once the kids were gone I let him out. He went straight down the hill and started crossing the street to the school. :he Nothing like tromping down the hill in my pjs yelling at the dog. :somad

I can hear the neighbors "Oh that's just the crazy bird lady, she lives across the street. Nice snow man Pj's" :ep

I just took the alieve, when it kicks in I will go get my kitchen cleaned up.

Enjoy your big birthday.
I never bothered with 40. I went 38, 39, 27 again, 27 again, 27 again, 43, 44, 45, . . . Just didn't want to listen to the "40" jokes all year. I guess menopause is happening for me now. Haven't had a period since summer. Not having flashes though. I've heard being vegetarian makes menopause earlier, but easier on you.
If the flashes are bad- you might try adding flax meal to your diet. I like the taste- a little nutty. It's great in muffins and similar stuff.

 Too funny.

I feel the aging process starting too. But I'm fighting autoimmune stuff and it's aggravating. I have been to the chiro too many times in the last year.
Hope you get that shoulder fixed up soon!

Thanks Java.

Thursday, Feb 4th 2011

Not much going on this week. I did some grocery shopping and have been trying to keep up on my house chores. (kitchen sink) :p

Shoulder is a pain in my butt.

Sat is a party for my dh Grandfather. He is turning 87 and this might be the last party. I am in charge of the broccoli salad. I will have to run to the big box store for bacon.

Other that that life is just chugging along.

When people say "how ya been" I don't really have a response.

My life is just kinda boring.

Well kids are getting up and dh is still here. That will put a kink in everything. :p
