That was my suggestion to dh as well. I think I will just stick something in there later.

Looks good G! :thumbsup Maybe paint it black for better heat retention?

We use a sheep trough for our brooding, but (as I said on my journal :D ) I think from now on the hens can do the brooding so we are going to turn it into an outdoor summer bathtub :) Put up a privacy screen, light bug repelling natural candles fill with water and :bun :D Or, i'll plant potatoes in it and for extra mulch use a body I don't care for :D Either way, it'll be fun! :D (I get this idea of an outdoor tub from MaryJane magazine so :p )

*sigh* yeah, i'm thinking we will end up planting it with potatoes or something. But, that should make an awesome coldframe right? :D

That should be good...put the lamp on one end and the food/water on the other. I would put something on that front lip to keep the shavings in or they will definitely make a mess.

Monday!!!

Thanks Lori. Yes that front section was drawn/designed a bit different. :/ I had originally drawn a solid piece of plywood with a long narrow oval window. I was thinking plexiglass or wire. I told dh the minute I saw it the savings would fall out. He has offered to fix it. I think I will just cut some plywood and cover the bottom 3 inches.

So, I went out this morning to let out the birds. Turkey #1 is still sitting her clutch. She is going to be a great momma, I hope some hatch for her.

turkey # 2 was off the nest and free ranging. She had been replaced by a very old Rhode Island Red. :idunno Who know maybe those poults will be co parented.

Dh started with the new company this morning. We will see how that goes. :tongue

Taking ds to doc this morning. I can tell he's on the mend but I told dh I would take him. His head still hurts and he is very tired. I give up. Let the Dr. try and figure it out. :(

I guess I need to power clean this week so I can have some kind of party next week. DD will be 8 on Sunday and I imagine I will need to have the in laws over. Not my idea of fun.

So if I am not around and you wonder about me. I am probably in cleaning the house mode. :sick

Well, got to get moving.
