Hummmmm....

Went out to the chicken coop. Both turkeys are still sitting on their eggs. :clap

Been working on decluttering and clearing out my good will. I had accumulated a very large pile of stuff on my porch. So I backed up my little truck and threw everything over the hand rail into the bed. It was so full I used a cargo net to hold it all in. I was a bit annoyed when the kid manning the drop site questioned what was in my bags. I said "you want it or not??" Geesh!!!

I posted 3 free adds on CL. Some kids plastic hangers, a coffee table and my sons old mattress. I had like 25 responses in the first two hours. When one man came for the coffee table I gave him a rocking chair, old bed frame, and vacuum as well. :woot No more clutter. The entire porch is clear. Now I just need dh to wash it.

Still planning on having the family over for dd b day on Sunday. No biggy. Just need to finish up the house and yard.

Not much else going on for me. Still getting up early with dh and now listening to his stories about the new job. He is sure stirring the pot. I hope it all works itself out.

Garden is kinda lagging. It's been kinda chilly here. Ground is not warming very quickly.

Dang dog of mine. Knocked over my whole tray of transplanted tomato plants today. I managed to get them back into their little peat pots. :somad

I went to the grocery and noticed that olive oil mayo was through the roof. What is up with that? So I came home and failed miserably at making my own. I didn't think mayo could be so hard. :sick

Found some raw honey on CL. I am probably going to get some on Monday. It's sold in a 4 gal bucket. Not sure if it's a good deal or not. 2.10 per pound and it's crystallized. I posted a couple questions on the raw honey thread abut it. :idunno

Well that's about it for me.

roll on, ;)

Honey is a good/great price. You will have to work with it more because of the crystalization but just dig out a "glop", put it in a bowl or wide mouth jar and set it in warm water to melt. Don't microwave it. Microwaving heats it too much and you destroy the goodies in raw honey. Gentle heat can be a slow process but it's the best way. Some of the big honey producers have heating straps they wrap around the 55 gallon barrels to warm contents so it flows better for bottling.

March is a birthday month for us as well. I have one turning 22, one turning 24 and one turning 73. Of course the last one is my dad, but he is really in his second childhood!
