Springs coming Justy just hang in there!!!

Thanks Jamie. This spot in the yard used to have one of those huge jungle gym things. But when it fell apart I took over the spot. The area off to the side of the carrot box has my kids sand box. I think I am going to give them the boot this year. Maybe add one more 4 x 12 foot bed. :idunno

Here is a lettuce bed.

Gina, those pix are just awesome. Justy's even ahead of me. I have nothing outside that didn't overwinter in the garden.

You talked me into the ground cherries. I have a pot with the free seeds I got with my seed order, no sign of anything sprouting yet.

I can hear that lettuce being crunched!!!! :)

Oh wait one more.

This is that fence line where I planted the peas and pole beans. The fence went in a while back. My neighbors were not appreciating my hens.

So I put down weed fabric, fresh compost and seeded. On the inside I strung chicken wire to keep the birds out of the soil and plants. I hope as they get taller the chickens won't notice them. :p

Ok so the pic wont work. :he

I don't get it.

Heehee, good luck with that one. :D My hens will strip the blossoms off of the peas if I don't keep them out of the peas and beans.

Well right now the hens are on one side of the fence and the peas on the other. But you know how that goes. It won't hurt to try.

Great pics....don't you just love looking at the green?

So my trick, isn't a trick. I don't use the upload thing here, I just upload to photo bucket and then copy the image to here. But....I use an iPad, not a PC....snce I got it I could not figure out how to upload or post pics. Duh, I didn't realize there was an app for photos.

Let me know when to come get the ground cherry. :woot
I am super excited to try something new!

I probably have 15 various ones sprouting up all over the garden. I think I will try to move some into 1 gallon pots. Not sure if they will live. I will let you know. I will try to do it this weekend.

I pad huh??? You lucky girl. I think I need a photo bucket account. Maybe tomorrow.

Well I just put the birds to bed now it's the kids turn.

have a good night.

Definite garden envy here! :)

The snow has finally almost all melted and my seeds in the flats I started in the kitchen are starting to sprout, but it will be another month before I can put them outside. If we don't get any snow this weekend I can start my cool weather crops, way later that usual so this will be a weird gardening season.
