Tank, congrats on your anniversary! :) I can't imagine butchering 50 meaties and turkeys....anyone would be exhausted plucking that many birds by hand. I bet hubby gets that plucker built! :D I just roasted the last meatie in my freezer that we butchered last spring and it fed 8 people! :th I'll miss having that good, fresh and healthy meat on hand... :(

Sounds like a very busy day! And sounds like your hubbie sees the value in a new labour-saving device ;)

Have a great anniversary tomorrow :)

It's Monday.

I woke up crabby and in a bad mood.

I had weird dreams, my hip and shoulder hurts and my dang cat woke me up all night long.

That thread on 5 things to do stressed me out. I have a million things I need to do today. I don't think its all going to happen.

Dh never said happy anniversary to me yesterday. I knew we were not doing anything special but come on.

I need to get moving. I just need to buckle down and catch up.

Wish me luck.

I'm sorry about the crabby start to your day. I'm sorry your DH didn't wish you Happy Anni. I'm sorry I'm not there to help you with your chores and stuff you with goodies containing chocolate :lol

Hope the rest of the day goes better for you.

Sorry he dropped the ball on that one. :hugs Tell him it was yesterday.
His brain may have slipped gears, but he deserves the chance to make it up to you. A honey-do list may help that process. ;)

I don't know- there isn't too much excuse for forgetting an anniversary. If even I can remember mine, anyone can! So, start a honey-do-to-make-it-up list. At least you will get something accomplished from a grumpy day.

Happy Anniversary late! :hugs

I have to be on the side of the forgetful spouse - my DH can remember all kinds of weird things: The day we met, the clothes I was wearing on the day we met, our anniversary. Me, I'm lucky to remember what happened last week! I do have SEVERAL helps to remind me when our anniversary is getting close because, even though we don't do anything special to mark the day either, he likes to know I made the effort to remember.
