Okay, I'm in.
My chili is slightly different every time. The only things that stay the same are these: Always meat, ground or shredded beef, deer or even chicken. HOT! If it doesn't make your eyes water, it needs more peppers. With beans, usually black beans or dark red kidney beans. And lastly, hearty (lots of veggies, meat & beans) but in a thick soup. Thin enough to sop up with cornbread.
MIL serves us cincinnati chili, over noodles with lots of cheese, onions & beans.

Hey OFG! I had a dream the other night that you had a party for all us SS'ers over at your place!
You were thinking about my "End of the World Party" scheduled for December 20, 2012 (MY birthday, of course.) We'll all gather in my back yard, eat lots of chicken, drink a lot, too, of course, and ring out of the old world.

See, I don't have a set chili yet. Didn't really grow up eating any home made chili (ate canned). My mom sometimes made it, but it was always pretty thin and soupy. I've always been more of a fan of thick chili.

(As for this causing debates- at least I didn't ask about BBQ!)
