Did anyone else here love/watch "Third Rock From the Sun"? It was one of my top 3 sit coms back in the day.

I know she has my namesake, but I just loved "Sally". :p eta from wiki: "Inside Sallys glamorous form lives the weapons and security officer: uncouth, swaggering, and macho." :p

I did!

John Lithgow is wonderful. If you ever get a change listen to his children's read along stories Marsupial Sue, the Run Away Pancake, Remarkable Farkle McBride, and my favorite I Got Two Dogs. Great nerd entertainment!

3rd Rock was awesome, John Lithgow was perfect in that role

I didn't know he had kids books! I'll have to look those up for my daughter.

I remember seeing it and thought it was funny - looked it up and see it ran from 96' to 2001. One thing I thought strange was John Lithgow to me was always more of a dark actor rather then comedic.

Not having a TV or access to cable or even over the air networks I just bought some more cheap entertainment. My internet is too slow and restricted for online viewing and watch these on the computer monitor.

I just bought several 50 packs of old domain movies, each was less than $15 shipped from eBay.
50 - Sci-Fi Classics on 12 dvds
50 - Horror Classics called Nightmare World on 12 dvds
50 - Gore Classics called Mortuary of Madness on 12 dvds
20 - Western Classics on 5 dvds
Planet Earth - complete collection - 7 hours in high definition on 4 hd dvds

I already have the 50 Action Classics set and all the Charles Bronson movies I could find on DVD (about 40 which cost me a tidy sum) along with about 100 more movies I copied when I subscribed to Netflix, plus about 75 - 99 cent movies I bought when I shopped at Save a Lot.

Well, I wouldn't say "Dick" was typically funny, he was an intellectual snob with a selfish-evil-streak funny.

(Swarthy Sally is still my fav though.)

One of my favorite movies is "Revenge of the Nerds". The original..not the sucky sequels.
