Dr. Jim recommends a nice hot cup of coffee, a shower, and a little bit of "gettin' busy" if you catch my drift.

It always wakes ME up!!

Nothing like a brisk walk in fall air to get the juices and energy flowing again. Otherwise, SKR8PN has a good plan :) How about excellent food and water also?

How about a nice glass of tea? Works for me.
That, too! I drink tea so incessantly that I actually forgot about it :p

Try a good nap, better than caffeine any day!

Make time for yourself if you need more rest. Burning the candle at both ends can make you sick and you will have more down time overall.

I also second the Emergen C idea if you need something to consume as a pick-me-up. Makes me feel energized and I can't have caffeine at all because of a medical condition.
My sons have a "Monster" habit, but I personally don't think energy drinks are healthy if they contain mega doses of caffeine, except for occasional use. And being healthy equals having more energy, right? At least we have to hope.

Read ingredient labels on some of that stuff. There are good products out there, but the popular ones are usually junk, and often do NOT even have the amounts of good ingredients that are on the label. I once talked to someone who works at the corporate offices of a product brokerage (they don't make anything, they hire it out to manufacturers, giving them the power to keep standards very high without having to absorb the costs of a bad batch or having the temptation to sell it anyways!) and he said they buy up things that are selling well and have an independant lab test them. If the product meets their high standards, they will have the company make stuff for them. They rarely find any where the lab analysis supports the label claims. I find that rather scary.

Overuse of caffiene is implicated in depression, btw. A little is ok for most people, a lot is very bad.

Ditto!! Have you tried planning for 8, or even 9 hours of sleep at night? You can actually do MORE when you are well rested. Phooey on these people that say they get by on 5--I see THEM crashing on the couch at night because they're beat!!
