Thanks ya'll - I think all of those kids are pretty cute :D

I'm having some problems with my bulldog :( The last few days she has been finding ways into the fence where I let my ducks and geese run loose, she has never forced her way in before and has always only gone in when I let her. She is 1 1/2 years old now and has been a fairly good dog for the most part. We worked on her food aggression and got that taken care of so I know she is trainable . . . she is hard headed and strong as an ox. I have worked with her about my birds (ducks, guineas, geese, chickens) and she has gotten better about not playing with them. A couple of the male scovies I got a while back hiss and bow up at her through the fence, I had to make one of them let go of her a while back. Plus I got the baby goats and she is jealous of anything or anyone that gets attention . . . Last night after I had fed up I look out and she is inside fence looking out so I went and got her corrected her and put her on a tie out at the back porch. Turned her loose before bed so she could get in her house. This morning when I went out to give the babies their morning bottle (I am so ready for them to be weaned . . . at least the 6 a.m. bottle . . no sleeping late for me!) She busted through somewhere and was inside again! same routine, she is on the tie out. I will not keep a dog that has to be tied. I am working on more and better fence, but I don't understand why she has become so intent on being inside that fence! I am afraid to trust her now when I'm not here cause you know the ducks and geese will run and no one will be here to tell her to stop and . . . . :barnie :barnie sorry for the long rant I'm just very frustrated and don't want to end up getting rid of her :hit

Drinkin coffee trying to get warm . . . it was 27 this morning supposed to be colder tonight :hit I know, I know, but I'm in Florida - ya know where it's supposed to be warm and sunny. Headin out in a few minutes to get hay for the goats from a couple towns over. When I get back I gotta rig up a wind break so we can send the rest of my way over due meaties to freezer camp!! Our weekends have not cooperated and I'm so ready for them to be finished. Think I'm gonna start pepper seeds today or tomorrow :D

Ya'll stay warm and have a good Saturday!

Ugh, I'm so tired of this cold and I live where it's supposed to be somewhat cold during the winter. I can't even imagine how hard it must be for those of you who live where it's supposed to be warm!

Think I found a good source for hay for the goaties - got 4 bales of nice hay from him today. Stopped and fed the kids lunch at McDonalds ( ;) less complaining when it's time to work if I treat them to fast food) got home & woke DH up with a pot of coffee (he works midnights so he had to take a nap) got set up and got 1/2 of the birds done. cleaned up the mess, fed the rest of the critters. Now I'm inside thawing out with a cup of coffee while the birds are chillin in the kitchen waiting for me to cut up. We'll start earlier tomorrow and finish them up :celebrate

We almost had a fried chicken - had the burner from a turkey fryer running for some heat for our hands . . . one of the chickens flopped around and onto the fire!
