Youngest DS had a 103 fever last night and it was 101 this morning - nothing else just the fever :/ so I am not working today :D I love the feeling of peace I get when I'm outside watching my critters do their thing makes getting up and going to work a little more tolerable

Went out a few minutes ago and took the goaties a treat - they sure are sweet :love

They had his parents and a sister that was 6 mos old - all beautiful and huge. They have more goats than I'll probably ever have so he has been with goats since the day he was born. He's done okay this afternoon - it'll take time to get used to being in a new place and grow up, but I am so excited to have him.

I went out to check on him earlier and the goats were all inside their barn and he was laying in the doorway watching them.

What a cutie!

You are lucky to find one that has been with livestock since being so young! Stuff like that really makes a difference.

Have we got a name yet?

His name is Big Jake (DH kinda likes John Wayne)

We really lucked out - I've been searching the internet - thought I was gonna have to drive 2 or 3 hours to find one that may or may not have been around livestock. Last night I was once again searching and the ad popped up - they live in the same town I do :ya and had just posted the ad Friday afternoon - by the time I talked to them today they had 2 left.

What a sweet looking pup. What kind is he? I'm thinking Great Pyrenees, but I could be wrong.

DH is out of town for training this week - left this morning :( He'll be gone til Thursday then home for the weekend then back again next week . . . I hate it when he has to go out of town.
