still delayed the pool and I am glad I did. that one stupid tree placement is sending leaves into the pool like crazy. last night was monster monster storm. washed everything clean...I like that. but it loaded more leaves into the pool. happy I didn't do the clean up work only to have to do it again. needless to say that tree is coming down come fall. sick of those leaves lol SO into the pool today for cleanup. still cloudy outside, waiting on nice sun. seems to be popping out.

thinking about where to go to find some fun. want out of the house at some point today. so throwing around ideas on how to have some cheap fun.

still haven't done the pool

OW I have to do it today or tomorrow. I don't want to lose control...lol even though it seems like I have in my to do list



Off to mom and dads alone today. Nicole staying home with Tony and Bolt. Nicole can't swim because of that ear (which is way better and on the mend) so she thinks without swimming in the lake why go....haha...and she got her training wheels off her bike and wants to ride today.
she is thrilled she is a big kid now! at least on our camping trips she can now ride trails etc we could not before cause of those training wheels...lol...opens up great bike riding on future trips now. Been waiting for that. Took those wheels off and boom, perfect riding. not one fall and she is a speed demon in one day....leaving those training wheels on a tad longer than she wanted made her easily transform to reg. bike riding...so it worked out well for her!

of course she wants a bigger bike now but I told her to slow down, Santa comes in December LOL
by then she should have her riding down pat and be ready for a bigger bike so I am checking for sales NOW haha



off to moms in a bit

everyone enjoy the day...me, not much to do, just goof around and usual chores etc. defrosting pork chops for tonight. nothing fancy

usual junk...clean bathrooms fast, do a few other things

soap work needed but not much



so basically it comes down to do a few coupons and grocery shop tomorrow---but today is easy day


swim most of the day...yes I did the pool and $80 of chemicals set it right. so that is done. water was hot..like a bath but still fun

sad that all moms work on my road. my road is small, dead end. 7 homes on my road only. 4 have kids close or exactly all the same age as Nicole, heck 2 gals were in her kindergarten wtih her.....but no one home. yup all kids in daycare....cause all moms work.

she is itching to play, and ends up seeing them at night and stays outside til 9 with the group....lol...which makes for a great sleep at night...but during the day she so wants to play and all kids are gone. WOW I am so lucky I don't have to work!!! I love it and while I feel for Nicole having no summer kids right on the road, I still goof off with her. But I remember growing up ALL US kids were home in the neighborhood. Hardly any moms worked a job. Big diff. between my growing up and her growing up.....and truly I feel sorry for daycare kids during summer. Will never truly know what a summer vacatino from school is and that is sad. It was one of the best 3 months of my life haha--truly I couldn't imagine my being in a daycare. whew I am glad I didn't grow up that way. oh well....everyone does what they must to pay those mortgages


gotta get some goat feed and lick block for them. so gotta hit the feed store in a bit then swim swim swim

will call Barb my friend and see if she is hanging out at the pool today..probably run over and then swim tonight in my pool...just to get out and chat and goof and knock back a few rum and diet pepsi heehee, with bacon (haha,that was for Ohio) lol



so off to get a few things done...busy day tomorrow so going to enjoy today!

I feel the same way about school kids.

When we were kids we went to school from 8:30 to 3:30 and from Labor Day to Memorial Day.

Now days many kids start their "school" day with before care at 6 am and after care till 5 or 6 pm! Then they go to school from the middle of August until June and summer school the month of July. The it is off to camp or daycare for many of them for the summer as well. Tell me we don't have State run daycare.

No wonder kids are getting burnt out on school!

cloudy day so far, not sure if sun is going pop out or not...cooler today which is nice

have chores as usual. gotta pay bills, seems all these bills came at once LOL I hate that. I owe the world alot of money, I hate that haha

have alot of little things to do that drive me nuts....you know those PITA type things. Our meat handler from the state called. Oh, did you quit the hogs? I need to know if we renew the handler license or not? UGH now I got to call her back. Have to call the other farmer market and have soap inspected now...ugh...gotta call her and have that lady come to the house. more crap like that ----ALL PITA stuff LOL


trying to reserve 10 days at the beach for next June. having trouble with their 'reservation window' on dates allowed in advance. well it said 11 mons in advance...and yup you have to reserve now or you will never get a spot. that is pissing me off right now LOL 'their' day starts at 9 am. so it said I can reserve then...but I stayed up til midnight last night to reserve and it wouldn't let me...then I find out 'their' day starts at 9 am. ugh just PITA stuff again haha

all this annoying stuff is getting to me lol

can ya tell haha


soap orders are thru the roof. I can not keep up. I have to get another me. orders backing up cause I can only make so much and the darn stuff has to cure. ugh so batches of bars are top priority right now.


well off to get the PITA stuff done today.

at 9 am the reservation lines open for booking my campsite at the beach for NEXT June

nope...at 9:01 they were ALL booked. not one site available. I got thru at 9:02


can you believe that LOL how slow I was on this time. NOT next week. On June 22 I will be online and phone in hand at 9AM sharp and I will get this campsite booked....(oh please oh please oh please)


my goodness I can not believe the competition for this site, well, yea I can, cause for $25 per night, direct access beachfront on the ocean...and a beautiful campground....man oh man I am ticked but wild about next week. I am fighting for a spot now
I had no idea how hard it was....cause when I got my last site I called about 3 weeks ahead and ended up with a cancellation and took it thinking, ah, no problem getting a site....well, yea it is a problem LOL


wow, just blew my mind so just ranting for no reason

so tomorrow at 9 am I will be on the 'puter to get reservations (or try) at my 2 fav beach spots for next June

UGH hope to try hard to get them so will see. 8 days at the beach for $205 is too hard to pass up!!!! the price is wonderful for the state parks and the beaches are fab! wow wish me luck ya'll



cloudy day....and get this, CHILLY huh? mid July and chilly what the? lol but good break from 100s lately. so I welcome it.


doing usual chores. again soap is priority in my life, my job lol, stinks but what can ya do...one wants money right to buy all those inflated items out there haha
