Cable installed yesterday and the installer was a wonderful young guy. Nice, fast, efficient, knowledgable, friendly etc. Just a great guy. I called the cable company and said, to the receptionist, I was installed yesterday, need to get a message to my installer's supervisor. I heard her kinda sigh, like oh crud, what did he do? HA HA.....I said I am calling to say what a great guy this installer was and I wanted the supervisor to know he was smart, fast, nice etc. You could FEEL the smile on the receptionists face when I said this...her whole mood lifted LOL LOL

Transfered all my emails, storage emails, contacts etc last night. Now to call bellsouth and cancel internet and phone. they won't be happy, tough :p

Tony feeling better. off to work. hope he survives

I told him it is our time to relax darn it. We went so hard and so fast over the last 15 years with the income farming. We don't know how to relax to the extent of not being anxious when we don't have something to do every minute LOL It does take time to change the pace...truly.
He was freaking cause we have to get that fence done for the backyard and pasture and his hand is yuck. I said, slow down, relax, the darn fence can wait, but all the while I am thinking the same as him LOL

We have to get out of that mentality that everything has to be done this minute...working on it HAHA

Soap orders thru the roof. Have soap works this morning, labeling, getting orders to mail, have to get a good sized order out to my local health food store....etc. usual holiday activity in this biz.

So today is kinda fast this morning and will be slow this afternoon. Not sure what I will find for Nicole and I to do. She is off from school. Might hit the dollar store for a few things, walk doggie, get out the chalk and draw on the road...that kind of thing LOL beautiful day out there, so sunny!

well off to get a few things done...everyone have fun today...

Off to eat breakfast out with Tony and then onto a few small stores.
checking for some filler presents for Nicole at Freds and Big Lots...(the cheapo stores, books are $1 and that type of thing)

just a bit of running around. Change of scenery than these 4 walls

dark, cloudy, GONNA rain day. not too chilly. house was hot last night. tell ya one minute it is freezing, next it is late spring weather. crazy time of year but it is always nice to never hear the heat kick on all night :)

We closed the pool all but the stupid cover. Tonys finger got mashed...but he wants to try today to get that cover over the pool. we should be able to do it.

so off we go and everyone have fun today!

BBBrrrrrr.....for real

in the 20s out there. too cold for my southern butt and that is for sure! :)

I am so over cold weather ;)

today should be easy. have to hit the post office, take a few soap orders to mail and mail out that Directtv return box for the equipment.

need to shop and use some good coupons for darn near free stuff but not in the mood. need a break from grocery stores :p
will do that next monday probably.

my barns cats feel the cold also. I always feed crunchy at the barn but now they are on the porch meowing for scraps. Oh yea they get whatever meat I have to throw them. hmm...but then come summer they are gone again. must not be good hunting time now for them :idunno at night I open the back door and Bolt doggie goes nutso seeing Lil Kitty on the porch lol--I own one cat left now for the barn but feed about 20. Every neighbor cat comes to my house :hu --I feed the world it seems.

usual stuff today. gotta clean the goat water and shoot them some feed. They will like to see that coming as always.

well off to get some laundry done and find a very very very small outdoor project. Like clean up my tomatoe bush area and get it ready for next spring.

everyone enjoy this nice (but chilly) day

LOL SO ALL of us are freezing but Moolie hits the prize...:D

younger I could handle cold weather, tons of snow, would downhill ski, cross country ski and all that---now, give me a beach and sun and a super duper MILD winter. I changed definitely toward the cold :p

Some days I wonder if NC is south 'enough'
